What's the difference between Luxilon 4G S and Luxilon 4G?

Luxilon 4G S 15 looks like a nice thick string I could use in the mains with RPM team 16 in the crosses to give it some spin. I think that hybrid at 60 pounds would be great for control. Only thing is, what's that "S" I see after 4G and what does it stand for? Also, what do you guys think if this hybrid?

I have been researching this !! Regular 4g is extremely stiff string and probably only works in a hybrid.
The new 4g soft is only semi-stiff and may work alone. I read it is similar to Alu power soft but the 4g will have even more control and dead feeling. The alu soft would have a tad more power.
I would say 4g is best only as a hybrid with something else and Alu can be used as straight poly.
I could be dead wrong as I am new to polys.
This room is loaded with experts on polys and they will eventuallly chime in

I have the new head hawk touch and I find it really good !!!!
I think you will find the Alu power soft much better than the 4g soft.
Alu is better as stand alone and 4g will work better in hybrid from what I read.

4g S was designed, I'm pretty sure, for the Wilson spin affect rackets so that the amount of spin doesn't break the strings very quick. It just a thicker gauge, I think.

I think Alu power soft would be better for full poly.

4g sounds like it is best for super hard hitters with tons of spin.
