Who here is a fan of the Bernie Mac show?

I just started watching it not too long ago and did not even realize he had died. I never saw his stand up routine, but he is certainly funny and witty on his own show. To me it is like a new series since I had never seen any of the episodes before.

His bit where he talks to America about his thoughts on raising the kids is hilarious. I wonder what station the show originally aired on because I never even heard of it, much less watched an episode.

It's not a bad show. I think it originally aired on FOX, so it was kind of big before moving to smaller stations.

Maybe I've only seen the few good episodes that are out there, but I find the show funny and entertaining. One thing I don't understand yet is why he was the three kids that he is the uncle to

Since no one posted the answer to my question, I researched it and found out the the kids are his sisters. He took them in while his sister was in rehab(for what I don't know).

Anyway it was on for 5 years yet I never saw an episode when it was current. I guess it was in a time slot that I did not watch TV, or had other things going on. So now I will just Netflix the series and watch it from the beginning. However based on the limited amount of posts I suspect the show might not be everyones cup of tea.
