Who wins each slam since 2004 without the Big 3

A disucussion on another thread got me thinking. Who do you think wins each slam since 2004 without the Big 3. This is evaluating things in a vacuum since I could see for instance Roddick never firing Gilbert, being much more confident, and winning even more, in this scenario, or all kinds of chain or ripple effects. Just evaluating things
in a vacuum though, and not further speculating on things that are impossible to even guage. I would go with:

2003 Wimbledon- Roddick

2004 Australian- Depending how the draw pans out could be any of Safin, Hewitt, Roddick, Agassi, Nalbandian. Going to guess Hewitt. I dont think Nalbandian has it in him mentally to win a major. Dont think Safin had it in him physically after the long layoff and going through a tough draw.

2004 French- Guadio still

2004 Wimbledon- Roddick or Hewitt; toss up IMO, slight edge to Roddick maybe.
2004 U.S Open- Agassi

2005 Australian- Safin still

2005 French- Puerta

2005 Wimbledon- Hewitt

2005 U.S Open- Hewitt

2006 Australian- Davydenko I think. Could be Baghdatis, Nalbandian, or Haas too.

2006 French- ugh anyones guess. Would say Nalbandian but he got injured in the semis vs Fed. Davydenko lost to Nalbandian and the other options are just funny, so will still go with Nalbandian I guess.

2006 Wimbledon- Ancic for sure IMO. He actually played really well in a 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 loss to a 100% at his best Federer.

2006 U.S Open- Roddick, Blake, or Davydenko. Really not sure, maybe Roddick since mentally he is the tougher.

2007 Australian- Gonzalez

2007 French- Davyenko

2007 Wimbledon- Berdych. Just dont see Gasquet beating him. Roddick lost to Gasquet.

2007 U.S Open- Roddick

2008 Australian Open- Tsonga

2008 French- Monfils

2008 Wimbledon- Safin

2008 U.S Open- Murray

2009 Australian Open- Verdasco

2009 French- Del Potro

2009 Wimbledon- Roddick

2009 U.S Open- Del Potro still

2010 Australian Open- Murray

2010 French- Soderling

2010 Wimbledon- Berdych or Murray

2010 U.S Open- Soderling

2011 Australian Open- Murray

2011 French Open- Soderling

2011 Wimbledon- Murray

2011 U.S Open- Murray

2012 Australian Open- Murray

2012 French Open- Ferrer or Tsonga

2012 Wimbledon-Tsonga

2012 U.S Open- Murray still

2013 Australian Open- Murray or Wawrinka

2013 French- Ferrer

2013 Wimbledon- Murray still

2013 U.S Open- Wawrinka

2014 Australian- Wawrinka still

2014 French- Ferrer

2014 Wimbledon- Cilic

2014 U.S Open- Cilic still

2015 Australian Open- Murray or Wawrinka

2015 French- Wawrinka still

2015 Wimbledon- Murray

2015 U.S Open-nobody was playing that well. Wawrinka I guess, slightly over Cilic.

2016 Australian- Murray

2016 French- Wawrinka

2016 Wimbledon- Murray still

2016 U.S Open- Wawrinka still

2017 Australian Open- Wawwrinka

2017 French- Wawrinka; definitely favor him over Thiem at this point.

2017 Wimbledon- Berdych, since Cilic in the final was injured/awful. If Berdych/Cilic meet before the final than Raonic.

2017 U.S Open- Del Potro

2018 Australian- Cilic

2018 French- Thiem

2018 Wimbledon- Del Potro; dont think Anderson is mentally tough enough to win a slam.

2018 U.S Open- Del Potro

2019 Australian- Tsitsipas

2019 French- Thiem

Legend
You get some amazing numbers when you exclude enough guys to leave 66 slam title spots open.

Of course, if you did that for other eras, you’d get some pretty crazy results. You’d have to exclude at least 12 players to open up 66 slam title results during the late-1970s to early-1990s era. Exlcuding Mac+ lendl + Becker + Edberg + Wilander only frees up 35 spots. We are barely halfway there with those 5 legends. Lol.

I know he played well but I can’t see Safin winning Wimbledon 2008. I’ll give him AO 2004 though.

Without Big 3 who would win? Guys like Roddick and Hewitt weren't even good that tournament.

I actually see much more of a chance there than the AO 2004 with Nalbandian, Ferrero and Hewitt playing well and him going through Agassi and Roddick back to back.

You could be right. Removing Fedal the draw is wide open and he proved a threat making the semis.
I think you overlook Hewitt. He had a tough first round but went past that only to run up against Federer. I think Murray might have a chance as well.
I’m also assuming with the big 3 removed, the draw changes too which is why I see Safin winning AO 2004.

That Roddick ends up with a potentially Becker like standing in the game sans Federer is both revealing and terrifying.
