Why does Djokovic runs around his Backhand?

I am watching the US open final and one thing I notice is that Djokovic keeps running around his Backhand to hit Forehands. Why does he do that when he has a more stable and devastating Backhand? Nadal keeps dropping the ball short in the middle of the court and instead of ripping cross court Backhands which he does on ocassions, he runs around it and hits average Forehands.

Djokovic doesn't posses the devastating Forehand of Rafa or Federer and his Backhand is the better shot. Running around your forehand requires more effort and can take you out of position. He should fire Marian Vajda and get another coach to improve his net game and come up with better gameplans.
He had so many chances to unleash on that Backhand CC but chooses not to. Its really hard to explain.

Are we watching the same match? He has hit so many sick inside out forehand winners. I think its pretty obvious his forehand is the weapon when hes on.
