Yeah, that's why Fed used Murray as his pigeon at W15 :D

Would've beat him easily in 16 F too. Shame he choked those BP against RaoMUG.
Lol We are in 2016 now and no federer wouldn't of beat Murray at Wimbledon

Federer is pretty much done. He might be the best ever but he won't win another slam.

Murray is clearly better than everybody par Djokovic

Yeah, but Injurerer. Fed's W16 level was far higher than Murray's and he would've won the final.

Today's era is so weak, Fed can win Wimbledon still.

PS - agreed regarding Murray. Hope he can overcome his master Djokovic at the USO and WTF and emerge as the new NO1, win the pusher MUG slams (AO/RG) then Fed returns to sweep up the elite grass and fast hard court seasons and ends 2017 as YE#1, wins CYGS in 2018 then retires in glory)

PPS - Fed comes out of retirement in 2020, wins Halle, wins W doubles with Rafa and reaches men's final in one last hurrah but a newer generation player wins against him in an epic 5 setter that is now the GOAT final of all time, then Fed wins 2020 OG in both singles and mixed, ends up with 23 GS and confirmed, consolidated GOAT in both achievements and elegant playing style.

He's injured because he's old and no his run at Wimbledon wasn't better than murrays. Not by a long shot

Federer blew a 2 sets to 1 lead to a guy who Murray beat without any problems

Yes it was. His performance in the first few rounds and vs Cilic was better than anything Murray produced.

RaoMUG played at like 20% in the final compared to 110% in SF, and he still required Fed to choke BPs in that SF, thanks to Injurerer.

Fed would have won that final as he is superior to Murray, shame he never reached it for NO18.

By calling Raonic mug, you insult Federer. As Federer was beaten by him, it means that he is even worse than mug. According to you he didn't just lose, but chocked, which is even worse than ordinary defeat. Not to mention that by calling a mug any ATP player you just show that you don't have a clue about tennis.

So struggling to beat an inconsistent cilic and losing to rao is impressive than a run where Murray barely lost a set? Lol

The federer fanboys smoking some strong stuff here

Hasn't proven he can beat Djokovic yet. He pretty mcuh wins his titles when Djokovic is gone.

Strange, I seem to recall Murray beating Djokovic to win his first two slams (and in the semi-final of his first Olympics win).

I answered yes to the original question. I think it's Murray's time...

Murrays made 3 slam finals this year and if it wasnt for Djokovic its possible he might have had a 3 slam year already.

That is domination.

If, if, if; Nole played in 3 finals in 2013 winning AO, but only the ITF cared to give him the nod while Rafa won 2 and acquired the #1 ranking officially! :p ;)

No I don't. RaoMUG played at like 200% that day and was in GOD serving mode, but Fed choked the BP thanks to Injurer knee injury that stopped him.

His wins over: Marcus Willis, Daniel Evans, and Steve Johnson were top form and more impressive than any player Murray defeated in W16.

While I think Murray will win a few more Slams and quite possibly reach number 1 sometime next year I don't think we'll ever see him dominate in a similar fashion to what Federer did and how Novak has over past 18 months or so....in my opinion he just doesn't quite have the consistency of those other two.

There's no doubt his consistency when compared to the rest of the field is at another level but he's still more susceptible to losses like he had toady in Cincinnati Final than what you'd ever say Federer or Djokovic were.

Murray has stepped up to take advantage of some easier draws, but he hasn't beat top inform players. Im not as impressed when Fed has been out and Rafa and Novak have been injured. I'm glad Murray is getting some time in the sun, but I think it ends when people get healthy. If Murray can consistently beat the other big 3 in big finals when they are healthy I'll be a believer.

No Murray will never dominate and become #1. The hype is too much. Murray's a great player that would've been #1 in any other era but this is Novak's era and Murray as great as he is is just not as good as Djokovic :D:D:cool::cool:

I think he beat Nadal in the clay season, admittedly not peak Nadal, but a Nadal who was in form at that point of the season. He beat Djokovic on clay, he beat Wawrinka in the FO semi final where he was defending champion. He beat a very in form Del Potro. Raonic is a top player now and he beat him fairly comfortably.

I feel like you are going to say they are only in form if they beat him, If they lose to him then its because there is an excuse somewhere.

If Del Potro lost to him because he was tired, does that make Murray the Cinci champion?

It's still just a "good run" which can turn anytime! Consistency along with big wins is how you become #1! Nole's not necessarily playing well, but he still has 2 majors and 4 Masters 1000 titles! How can Murray even be a threat IMO! :p ;)

I didn't say he was, I merely contested the fact that he has not beaten any in form top players.

Even if he did win while "in form;" SO WHAT? The H2H has been abysmal for a couple years; esp. in the majors vs the other "Big 4!" So Murray got a win here and there this year! The question should be raised about the future; "can he keep it up?" I think he works too hard to win so by the YEC, he'll be as weak and rung out as a wet dishrag! There's a reason neither Rafa or Andy haven't won in O2 and it's not all on Nole and Roger dominance of the event! :p ;)

You are reading way too much in to my comments. You are arguing against things I HAVEN'T said at any point.

I have not said that Murray will be number 1 or start beating Djokovic more often than losing to him or that he will win the WTF. I haven't said or implied any of that or referred to it in any way.

The only thing I said was that he had in fact beaten top in form players on his run this year. Thats it. Nothing else.
