I'm sorry for the intrusion into your board, I wanted to see if any enthusiast here wanted to take advantage of this prior to my putting it on the 'bay.
I bought this racquet from the pro at my parent's club in 1986-ish and have moved it with me on my journeys over the last couple of decades - but have never played it since graduating highschool in 1988! I "lettered" with the stick - and never had the heart to unload it (or unwrap the dayglo techniwrap, although I did just take off the babolat that was my bumper guard!)
Well - it turns out this stick has some pretty neat attributes that some elitist/fanatic/lover of rare tennis racquets would like - if anybody is interested, feel free to contact me with a serious inquiry. I'll let this simmer for a while before listing it on the 'bay - I've kept it 20 years, a few more weeks won't matter... blake dhat michaelson aat gmail dhat com
Cap Code HOQ, bumperless, red primer, lacquered logos, raised throat grommets, square chamfered channels, midsize on both sides, original case, etc.... much higher resolution photos upon request.
Again, my apologies for the intrusion - I hope this will, if nothing else, provide some decent photos and spirited discussion!
