Wimbledon Live Feed

The Wimbledon Live Feed is available for subscription. You get 9 courts of action for the whole tournament for $24.99 (they also have a day pass). I got it last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. As a matter of fact, I have a 19" flat panel monitor on my home PC and basically watched their coverage rather than NBC's.

If you enjoy doubles, it is espeically good because you can watch all the doubles you want.

Rabbit, hows the commentary on BBC? It'd have to be an improvement over the usual cast of NBC idiots (esp the insufferable Bud Collins and TIm Ryan) but I must admit I enjoy Carillo and Mac.

The setup is easy and painless. I tell you, it is worth every penny. I got to watch the old farts last year, Nastase played with Stan Smith....yes, hell froze over...

I live in the States and I got Wimbledon Live last year.

Fantastic.

We're moving more towards having to pay for any good programming, but so be it. I don't want to chance it with US television coverage.

thanks for pointing this out. I will gladly pay 25 bucks to avoid the senile Bud Collins and the horrid coverage of nbc.

I think I'm going to get this. On demand video sounds nice and there a lot of classic matches I've missed. I'm sure there is some way to save the matches as they are being streamed as well.

And yes, I do enjoy Carillo, never understood the hate for her. She actually knows a bit of tennis history and can be funny at times. At the very least she's not bland and repetitive.

I seem to remember there is not a way to save them but they are available for a few weeks after tourney is over. Maybe some computer geeks on this board can figure out a way around that, though.

You can save some of the matches, I think most that are not historical. You can view them for up to 90 days after purchase of Wimby Live or 90 days after the final, whichever is later.

The live streaming of whatever they are broadcasting is for UK residents only, but you can buy Wimby online wherever you are in the world. Got it last year, I agree, worth every penny.

I did the livestream last year and loved it. I chose all the WTA matches I wanted to watch and the quality was great, both the matches and the livestream. The only thing that annoys me is that the livestream fee has been increased substantially from 19.99 to 24.99. I suppose next year it will be at least $30. That's a large percentage. I don't think it's worth any more than that so this might be the last year I subscribe.
