Three 250s, Prague on hards, other two still on the dirt.

Prague draw

Petra & Krejcikova headline.

Lausanne draw (WTA finally decided to get a pdf up)

This one is not strong. Zidansek/Ferro/Teichmann/Giorgi are top 4.

Budapest draw

Putintseva/Collins/Pera/Begu top 4.

Bet this thread will be bumpin'!

Holy hell, didn’t realize Urszula Radwanska qualified for Prague. Haven’t heard that name in a minute. Looks like her last WTA main draw match was Nanchang, China in August 2016. That’s crazy.

Til recently I thought she had retired tbh.
I saw her in the qualifying draw in Wimbledon, she was playing well. Won 2 matchs but couldn't win the 3rd. She won her 2 qualifying matchs in Prague and has a genuine chance to win this 1st round (never heard of her opponent)
I remember she was seed #31 in Roland a few years ago, it was her best ranking. She played a couple of times against her sister, including once in the USO main draw I think. :)

Fairly certain she did retire, injury-related, before her sister. Clearly she came back, good on her.

She was always pretty damn attractive too...

Konjuh and Putintseva tomorrow. Konjuh had a bit of a shaky round one match dropping a set. Hopefully she just needed a match to get settled in...

Good chance to win tomorrow and she has a win over her earlier in the year, but needs to stay solid on serve. Been seeing a few too many double faults.

4 & 3 for Yulia.

Two more names from the past in Lausanne...

Mandy Minella’s last main draw W was against Pavs at the ‘19 FO. Beat Gracheva today.

Alexandra Dulgheru’s last main draw appearance was Limoges in ‘18, García handled her easily today.

Rain has screwed with the draws. I’m assuming some just ain’t real interested in playing multiple matches in one day, especially after being bounced from singles.

#2 Krejcikova playing her doubles partner #5 Siniakova in the Prague QFs. Naturally they are the two highest seeds left.

Zidansek beat Minella in Lausanne.

#1 Yulia & #2 Danielle the only two seeds left in Budapest.

Putinseva wins in 3. Goes to her chair on break point, to win match, to wipe a little blood, or dirt, off her leg. Not sure what was going on there. A bit unorthodox on match point.

Four straight-setters in Prague today. Krejcikova smoked her partner, 3 & 0.

Lausanne appears to be all caught up after the rain.

Hopefully we get the Yulia/Danielle final in Budapest, that would be fun TV.

Pretty "chalk" week on the WTA. #1 seeded Putintseva, #1 seeded Zidansek, and #2 seeded Krejcikova all won tournaments.

The next week is even better. Collins is #1 seeded in Italy and in Poland the half of the draw withdrew at the last moment.
