No word yet on the release date for new Yonex products, but we should be meeting with Yonex representatives in the next 2-3 weeks.

just curious jaen, which one were you considering? I think I got the pro series 2424 (6 pack) but I sent it back because I wasn't diggin the backpack straps and I liked my babolat one better. I love the color though.
I wish the tournament series724 came in the same color as the PS 2424.

Anyway, which ones do you like?

PLEASE, ask them if they're really going to re-issue the RD-7 sometime in the near future. The rumors persist.

Just spoke to our buyer and it looks like we will not be meeting with Yonex until mid January 2006.

We may be receiving updates on future products before then, and we will post here when we know.

Any news on this yet or perhaps some ETA/Pics on the two new Prince collections coming out?

Still have not heard anything on Yonex bags, just the new RDS racquets and the shoes and apparel the Yonex players have been wearing down under.

I'm quite sure that I did.

I did put up two photos in a thread about Yonex bags rather recently, I know that.

I remember reading this thread recently - I recall it starting late last year, and being 'resurrected' lately - and it's the only Yonex Bags thead that's been here recently.

In any case, the photos of the bags are no longer here, for one reason or another. They were only available from Yonex in Japan a couple of years ago - not available in North America. Yonex Japan couldn't even legally sell one of the bags to me unless I (or my representative) bought it from them directly in Japan.

Here are the 3-in-1 bags in question - they can be used as a triple, six-pack, or nine-pack bag, as one of the three large main compartments separates completely.... Wouldn't it be nice to have them here?

I got news for you, Deuce: the bags are made in China. Still interested?

First of all, I don't even know if they're available anymore.

Secondly, I'm assuming that they're made in Japan, like many, if not all, Yonex racquets a couple of years ago.

If the bags are not made in Japan, how do you know? If they're made in China, how do you know? Do you have one of said bags?

I know that the Yonex bags-all of them regardless of model-are made in China because I frequent tennis shops in Japan, and I look at the merchandise. "Made in China" is printed either directly on the bags or on a hangtag. That's how I know.

Most textile items these days from the large sporting goods companies, even in Japan, are "made in China". Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand comprise a smaller percentage of the manufacturing locales.
