Yonex EZONEDR100 with Yonex poly tour pro 125

Hi there looking for any experiences you may have had. My son has been using this stick for a week with above yellow string and fell in love with it. He is 16 currently using an aero pro gt 300g strung with hybrid 55lb mains pros pro black force crosses babolat sun gut.

Demo was factory strung, rep didn't know what tension just prob Lower end of 45-60 lb range.

I had concerns about him moving to a full bed of poly but he had not one issue using the yonex daily. I've read the yonex string is a soft poly.

Any one here with junior players or say club players with this set up? Wondered what you had the tension set at when moving from hybrid to full poly string like this one.

I'm thinking about getting the stringer to drop from his usual 55 to say 50lb.

I know it's prob a play and feel period just looking for any experience you guys may have had.

He plays almost daily as a performance player.

What he reported was with this racket he generated much more power then his aero. I'm suspecting that was more to do with the string bed.

I use the DR 100 have 3 different strings in my frames right now. 1 is original big banger at 45, second is hybrid polygon and gosen sheep at 54 and the third is strung with prince duraflex at 57 all play well (I`m a teaching pro)

Hi thats great to hear . Going from a poly/syn gut at 55lb what would u advise in his full poly. Dropping tension to say 50 or is that too low to start with ?

52. My son is high 5.0 plays 52 poly
