Yonex Racquets

Wouldn't it be true that Yonex's quality control would be far superior than any other racquet manufacturer on the market due to the fact that Yonex racquets are in fact made in Japan and as we all know, anything made in Japan is of extreme high quality.

Japan = Lexus

China = 1995 Ford Ranger

I'm thinking about purchasing a Yonex RDiS 100 Midplus. I need to try it out first though, ugh.

Generally, yes. I believe that Yonex quality is the best in the industry.

I'm really pleased that my Dunlops look and feel "just about as good."

I don't... since I have had... from 2001 until this summer.... at least 12 racket frames BREAK (not due to any kind of abuse) on me.... while:
1. Serving
2. Hitting a forehand
3. volleying.

I LOVE Yonex... but i just can't associate it with that high quality control.

Which models were those in particular? I've heard about some of the older Yonex racquets cracking, like the RQ Ti 1500, but none of the newer ones. I've been using Yonex racquets since the RDX 500 and have never had one break, even on bad mishits.

I own close to 2 doz of Yonex frames - some of which were very haggard due to extensive court time (not from me, I bought it used). So far I have not had or seen any cracking or frame deterioration issues with any my Yonex.

So far I was able to customized and match 2 RDiS to the same weight.

Yonex has had the reputation to be a Girl's racquet. My ex-GF in College used them, I was her practice partner and I tried her racquets a few times, but did not like the feel. She was a solid 5-6.0 player.

That was 20 years ago, but I assume with the improvements over the past 20 years, it's probably a lot better.
