Yoshihito Nishioka racket

Yoshi still uses Babolat VS natural gut in the mains.
During Australian Open, he was trying out a silver poly string for his crosses, most likely Luxilon Alu power
Recently he won the Columbus Challenger and was using Yonex Poly Tour Pro in the Crosses

I think its a good move for him to try out new polys. His regular setup was VS in mains with Yonex poly tour spin in the crosses (Blue-5 sided Poly)
Interesting to see him switch from a shaped poly to a smooth round poly. I'm guessing he wanted more consistency and to be able to flatten out the balls a little easier. Spin is def not an issue for him.

He had a great win with his new string setup against Jenson Brooksby

Anyone know if Nishioka is still using the Yonex Vcore 98? He got a new paint job that’s all black. It appears to be be a Vcore but I’m curious why the new paint job.

Looking at the throat, it's probably the next iteration of the score. The throat is different from the 2021 vcore

looks like Nishi has gone back to the SV98 in his loss to doble macca??
Has the same paint as his old sticks no longer blacked out units?
way less pace and depth in last 2 matches

23/22 kg with natural gut is crazy...balls would be flying a bit

48 lbs is the minimum recommended tension from babolat on the package.
i am pretty sure there are players that go even lower.
