your best string setup on Babolat PD+ .....

I am looking for advice from more experienced PD+ users. :)
As we all know Babolat woofer system makes PD+ a little springy and bit to powerful. Otherwise this racket is perfectly balanced and easy to swing.
What is your best string setup - hybrid, one pc string job, two pcs. string job etc. and related to this strings and tensions to cancel these two negatives....?
Thanks,

I'll leave string recommendations for others, but if you string it above 60+ (with a regular synthetic) on the PD+ it should negate the woofer technology.

I like Prince Lightning 16 and Gamma Live Wire XP 17. Both work well in the crosses and mains, but I like the Lightning mains at 64 and Live Wire in the crosses at 61 the best. I've tried a bunch of different setups with this too.

I am a 5.5 player. I swtiched from Gosen Aramix Pro Blend, to Stamina, Sensation, and than NXT Max. I've been using the babolat Pure Drive + for about 3 years. I still have my first four rackets which are the old style PD+. PD+ is more of a power racket than a control racket.

I would string mine at 59, depending on what the altitude is. Just a couple of mounths ago, i went to a tournament and stung my racket at 60 because the altitude is a bit higher which will make my ball fly. If you are hitting long, just string it up a pound or two and add more spin.

What is the string that you are currently using??

I currently have Babolat Tonic 15L , main strings 59 lb., crosses 57lb. It's not bad but a little mushy. I don't feel regular gut liveness. Before a had Wilson Sensation 17 at 58 lb/56l lb and that was a catapult. I'm thinking now about gut 15L main at 59 lb and Luxilion Alu 16L crosses at 56 lb. I wonder if anybody try this setup.

OK, so I did. Main string gut Babolat Tonic 15L at 59lb and crosses Luxilion Alu Rough 16L at 56lb. Result...less then average...
String bed more on the stiff side , power is fine but sweetspot is small. Off center shots have tendency to die on strings. Luxilion in crosses makes annoying wire like sound, probably due to extra vibration given by woofer.

I just switched to the PD+ last week and am using Syntronic Brio 16 @ 60 lbs. Decent control on groundstrokes, but no pop at the net on volleys. I hear that is typical of the PD+.

I was using the PD OS w/VS Touch 16 at 57 lbs. Boy, was it awesome at the net!

I may try some VS Touch 16 @ 60 lbs. in the PD+ to see if I can get some pop and touch back at the net. Wouldn't mind toning down some of the power though, may go to 63 lbs.
