Aslan was pretty solid throughout the match, hitting a lot more winners than his opponent. He served well too and won around 80 % of the points when he got his first serve in. Musetti had four break points in one game in the first set but none before and after that. In the interview Aslan said that the conditions were tough, with wet and heavy balls and a slow wet surface. He'll bagel Tsitsi in the next round.

Andrea Rublev has rumor to be coming out.....with this Head PJ stencil racquet! He has been using a glossy black racquet for around 18 months and winning matches like there is no tomorrow. The Head Galaxy MP is the same racquet endorsed by Sasha Zverev and it is two pastel colors blue and green; one color on each side, in a satin matted sheen. Will he play well with the new PJ racquet? Different colors and matted sheen?

Anyone else notice that a lot of solid players are playing against each other in the first round? Ex. Chardy vs Bublik. FAA vs Garin. Karatsev vs Musetti. Goffin vs Cilic. Ugo vs Millman. Demon vs Kokina. Evans vs Lajovic. Etc. Would expect some of these matches to be later rounds, especially Goffin vs Cilic; usually would be like a QF, but instead they played in the first round.

Play has been suspended for the rest of the day. Bummer we couldn’t get through more matches, tomorrrow is going to be packed.
From what i have seen he doesn't seem to be training enough fitness wise or maybe the age caught up with him. He had knee issues in 2019, hasn't really looked the same since.

I watched his doubles match with Khachanov, and Rublev was using the head gravity paint job with a stencil
You can see he is very proud of the new paint job because he was very cautious about putting it down during change overs, and wiping down any clay that may have gotten on the bumpers. Hopefully the new paint job brings him as much good fortune as his blacked out racquet did!
