On another not, poll votes were a big failure, considering the finalists that we got.
Rublev: 0 votes
Tsitsipas: 4 votes.
Over 55 total votes.

Rublev is going to emasculate Tsitsipas so hard that Apostolos is going to officially disavow him from the stands, denying his fatherhood.
I will be greatly satisfied if Stefanos just stops publishing philosophy treatises and self-help books.

Don’t know what your going on about. Grass is his favourite surface his win loss record is 18-12 on grass and he hasn’t played any grass tournaments in two years. I wouldn’t be so quick to call him a HC specialist.
Agree to disagree. 3R Wimby twice vs finals in both HC slams. 10 titles all on HC. Best grass result: 1 SF each at Eastbourne and Queen’s Club. If your tasting Medfly considers grass his favorite surface then he’s either lying or he really likes losing on it. 18-12 is not anything to boast about. HC specialist until he proves differently.

Really shocking that club players play only doubles most of the time in the 40+ age but doubles is not shown on TV until now.

The issue with you claiming hard court specialist is this is based on early early results in his career. 18-12 is nothing to boast about but its still a 66% winning record. His breakthrough on the hard courts didn’t come before halfway through 2019, before that he had 3rd round and 4th round exits of every major tournament. So he literally had bad result everywhere not just grass. He does love grass which makes sense because big serve + flat stroke + fast surface is the perfect combination for a grass court game. If he does badly at Wimbledon this year than you can claim hard court specialist but in my opinion its far too early to say that.

I think Tsitsipas might be the best player on clay at the moment. It should be either Thiem or Nadal, but not right now.

Rublev pounded Ruud and Nadal. It reminded me of an old man getting beat down only for his son to try avenge him and also take a beating. Rublev is playing very solid. His forehand is brutal and his backhand is very steady. His defensive forehand squash shot is also excellent. I think he will pound Tsitsipas.

As I said and you continue to ignore, agree to disagree.

Also, I disagree with your math. 18-12 is a 60% winning percentage. It’s nothing to boast about.

Done with your losing argument yet?

Agree on that forehand. Stretched out wide, gets the point to back to neutral, or even takes the offense. Against Nadal he repeatedly hit that shot low over the net, and deep.

Is it just me or was Nole looking ultra razor sharp for his first match on clay. He seemed to hit a MUCH heavier ball and with a lot more power than any of his clay court matches in the last couple of years. Could make things interesting for the ongoing CC season.
Called it way back during his first clay court match this year. Novak’s made some interesting tweaks for the clay season as evidenced by his Rome run. Won’t matter against Rafa, but gives him a punchers chance to at least take a set off him.
