didn’t realize accusing Ned of faking injuries was a criteria I had to meet during the Fed fan application process

someone at the recruiting agency for the Church of Fed must not have done their homework

Relax buddy, I know other Fed fans have accused Ned of faking injuries lots of times. I know because I’ve called them out on it before.

I personally haven’t though. But I can see you aren’t interested in anything more than generalizations and assumptions so probably not in my best interests to continue the discussion. Cheers.

The draw is still the toughest of all time. It’s not important that Berettini Cilic dropped out and Querrey lost in the first round and FAA potentially too.

Can we all agree however that Djokovic has had the easiest draw of all time two years running
DRAW itself was tough but the outcome definitely not! Most of the big names are out..

I’m not your buddy, friend.

Here is Nadal's (projected) draw:

1R: Cerundolo

2R: Querrey - lost.

3R: Sonego

4R: Cilic - covid

QF: FAA Lost

SF: Berrettini - covid

F: Djokovic

3 down, and Nadal is about to begin his first round match. :)

Is it better to be lucky or good? Or in Nadal's case, both.

4 down.

Sonego almost went out as well.

LOL

It's looking 90% to be Djokovic v Nadal in the final....lets not kid ourselves here.

I kept hearing how grass field is the weakest it has ever been, Djokovic is sleeping walking to the title before the draw even came out, but I see the usual complaining about how the draws panned out. 8-B

Djokovic and Nadal are the superior grass court players, and yes, Nadal is still ahead of everyone bar Djokovic, even if he has not played a competitive match on grass in three years. Doesn't matter what the draws would have been, these two are the best.

Nadal will never make the final. He could go out at any stage against anybody

Nadal already had little chance to win Wimbledon before the draw (last time he played he was close to winning by reaching the semifinals), but with this draw he has literally no chance. Nor would Federer or Djokovic win with this draw. No one can. This is the thoughest draw of all time.

Here is Nadal's draw:

1R: Cerundolo

2R: Querrey (big serve, defeated Djokovic at Wimbledon in the past)

3R: Sonego

4R: Cilic (Wimbledon finalist, has been close to defeating both Federer and Djokovic at Wimbledon in the past).

QF: FAA (pushed Nadal to five sets at RG, defeated Zverev last year at Wimbledon)

SF: Berrettini (Wimbledon finalist, defeated Federer’s conquerer Hurkacz)

F: Djokovic

This is the most brutal draw the history of tennis has ever seen. Not even the US Open 1992 comes close to this. Edberg “only” had to defeat Sampras, Chang, Lendl, and Krajicek. All of those are “weak” players compared to Djokovic, and Nadal also has other mighty grass court specialists in his road to the final.
out of 6 possible matchups before finals only 2 happened.

This draw ended up even tougher than I expected. Covid, which is undefeated in tennis, knocked out Cilic and Berrettini.

Covid makes any draw impossible as well.
