It's $180 now, I thought vapor 9 ID was $160.
Nike tennis shoes are heading to basketball shoes price territory T_T
Also no vapor X for a few years???

Definitely don't have colors close to that.
Acctually, WTF IS WITH THE COLORS? They don't even have plain red. I'm so confused and annoyed.

^^^ Yep... I'm happy the Vapors are back, and especially with the 9.5 version... but seriously, what a poor color choices, and lack of customization options !!! ??? !!!!

Lining option is gone (now included in the upper), shank option is gone (now included in the outsole), and I was expected a separated tongue option that isn't included with the upper.

I'm a bit disapointed... Not so much choices in the end, while on lot of other NIKEiD shoes you can customize from every parts of the upper to the eyelets !!!!

Closest to the Davis Cup Shoes you can get! - Grass court soles because I'm a grass court kinda guy
Closest to the Cincy Shoes also
Limited options on the tounge so you cant change that to black and keep the vamp navy, this is more purple because Navy isnt an option on some parts of the shoe

I just ordered 'Davis Cup' same as above but I felt that the vamp (tongue and toes) should be white. I went for clay.
Gave up on Cincinati ones, although again the closet I go was as above but felt the vamp should be be black although then looks a little messy!

I always wanted Red and white swoosh color combination in order to customize swiss RF vapor theme but $180 is too much.

No way to custom the fit? I believe there were two options with the Vapors 9. "Tour" fit and something else, one being tighter than the other

Well the wider of the two was the same as the standard release shoe. I've yet to hear that the vapors aren't narrow enough lol
Maybe they'll step up to the plate and give us an accurate to fed's actual shoe, representation. Even if it does cost more, a better sole (wider sole on similar frame, different tread, different rubber-like the kind on the new yonex's that are crazy sticky) on that vapor low to the ground setup would be really really nice.

They always update the colour options - they did it for the V9s at least twice, if not more. They wont announce it far ahead of time because they don't want people waiting to buy the product.

My iDs arrived yesterday. I customised them to look like Federer's Davis Cup shoes. Shame the toe colour can't be different. I thought about dying/paint toe area but don't want to risk ruining them! I think they're about as close as you can get. Had to wait 2 years for these so pretty happy generally : )

So disappointing... The severe lack of customization available now is ridiculous, especially for even more money.

They will "update" their colours claiming that they "listen to their customers".
It is one of the oldest games around: create a "premium" product and then incrementally manipulate the audience that the price is OK, as long as they get to enjoy the exclusivity of it.
In this case the exorbitant price will be "justified" with "more" colour options ( as compared to the original ID offering).

Haha, yes I saw these yesterday and that was my first thought! They are the closest you'll get, with the tongue being white and toe being red. Finally!!!
I'll definitely be getting these.
(Luckily, I got rid of my iDs ages ago because I didn't like the dark red ; ) )

In fact, they " are" already released.. I saw them in the new center c o... catalogue two days ago.
They are already selling the white& red shoe ( 40€ Cheaper than IDs)
