Attention!

Yoeri Tennis videos are going to be gone in a week.

I am sure a lot of you know about the channel, but just a reminder that it has long, high quality highlights of many memorable matches that featured Federer:

2005 Australian Open semifinal
2006 Rome final
2007 Wimbledon final
2009 Wimbledon final
2017 Australian Open final
2005 TMC final
2005 Miami final

As well as many brilliant displays by the Maestro in his best years at Wimbledon, US Open, TMC, Indian Wells, Hamburg, with a few here and there at other tournaments.

It also includes highlights of some matches from other players, such as:

Agassi-Blake 2005 USO
Hewitt-Safin 2002 Shanghai
Henman-Roddick 2003 Paris
Safin-Agassi 2004 Madrid
Nalbandian-Davydenko 2005 TMC
Davydenko-Roddick 2008 Miami

Save all the content you really like before it's all removed.

Why is it going to be taken down?

Probably some copyright issues. I stumbled upon a video "What is TennisTube?!" that is promoting some new site and Yoeri said in the comments that his channel died. I watched Federer-Nalbandian 2006 Rome semifinal yesterday but that video was quickly taken down. He probably got a few strikes like that which got him a suspension. Unfortunately the same thing happened to a few other channels.

You don't normally get warnings, the ATP have removed some of my videos in the past but I wasn't notified.

You get those warning in the inbox on the email you are connected with.
They deleted like 5 Wimbledon videos a while ago and I couldn't post anything for 6 months because of the copyright strikes.

They've deleted Wimbledon matches, never noticed any emails. Maybe I should have looked more carefully :D

Ah yes now I see them.

It's been a while! Some excellent shotmaking courtesy of everyone's favorite version of Fed, 3 very rare matches.

Usual return+passing clinic

Fabulous shotmaking in this one with a couple of those volleys and the FOREHAND

More of the same here, maybe one of his best backhand flicks. Also him cold cocking a backhand return off a 127 mph serve.

Fed at his grass peak! That FH was unreal as well as his return.

Some great clips there ! Fed's movement was outright scary during that time

Also fun to see Escude again - remember him as a very fun player to watch, could play all shots, always a great attitude on court and played with style as well

Of course everyone remembers the US open final against Hewitt and AO open SF against Roddick..where he crushed both..but this one played against Blake at the 2006 Masters Shangai was just amazing..

My god. Federer's game on hard courts at his peak has no weaknesses at all. I remember everyone on that arena just shaking their heads and smirking in disbelief about Federer's precision and shotmaking. It was just peerless. Sheer perfection on a tennis court.

My all-time favourite Federer match on HC, nothing but a sheer brilliance

couple great shotmaking performances. The one against Deliciano in particular. Hard to understate the aura around Fed in that time period in particular. Everyone thought he was truly unbeatable. Then came Safin.

Safin came before both of those clips though.

From Wimbledon 2006 till Masters Cup 2007 Fed was really gaining ground in the rivalry with Rafa. Then came that famous beatdown at the French in 2008 which cost him Wimbledon soon after. They played too much on clay in 2005-2008 period :)

Everything was clicking in the match vs Murray in the WB SF.Without a doubt, one of the best performances in Roger's career and one of his best matches on grass.Too bad he crumbled mentally in the final.

He didn't crumble mentally in Wimbledon final. Mental loss was 2015 USO..
He just didn't have his biggest weapon anymore to blow djoker off the court

What really killed Roger in his rivalry with Rafa was Hamburg 2008. The horror. Worst mental performance of his career IMO.

Federer’s movement to his FH and early racket prep for the FH at his peak was otherworldly. And that liquid whip...

Deliciano is laughing at how Fed was playing here. One match that I haven’t seen on Youtube is Fed/Agassi 2005 Dubai. It’s peak Federer baseline play.

matches outside of 2003-2009 should be removed from this thread. Any match after 2009 cannot be considered as peak Fed

I can't remember. Anyway Fed fans already do this 24/7, they don't need my help.

Yeah, so if we do it, how about not coming around here posting 2015 stuff when he is 33-34 years old losing to Djokovic? Go create another biased stats thread instead.
