I didn’t use the phantom long enough to know. But the 310 is standard fare. Wears like a 16x19. Even tho is 16x18Does the TT100 eat through strings like the 100P?

TT100 regular is 16x18Isn't the TT100 16x18 like the 100P
The TT100 solid beam seems to be 16x18, right... While the O3 version is 16x19.Isn't the TT100 16x18 like the 100P
Yes. Even more so I would say.Does the TT100 eat through strings like the 100P?
I confirm totally!!!!!!Yes. Even more so I would say.

That's about how long to play a thin poly anyway.I confirm totally!!!!!!
I just break 1.24 poly after only 5h30 of playing in my O3 Tour 100!!!!!!
I need 1.30 now... Incredible. That's about how long to play a thin poly anyway.
Wanting something more forgiving (bigger head size) / easier to wield.@whorng Why are you ditching the Yonex Vcore Pro 97 310
I'll take what I can get.You think 3 sq inches will make any difference?
Yes. I have both stick... it's not only the 3sq inches. Thicker beam etc. Prince tt100(310) is definitely easier to use. Its stable as a tank. You will never get pushed around. For those who are worried about whether this is stiffer.. for me its 100% more comfortable than vcp97. Having said all this, I love both sticks.. vcp97 has insane precision to me. I can hit some shots that I didnt think I had it in me. But with vcp97.. you have to put the work in a little bit more.. and tt100 has easier power etc...cant go wrong with either stick in my book.. ohhh I also ordered my 2nd tt100 on this sale. And finally ordered 93p that I have been always contemplating.I'll take what I can get.
Also some have complained about the VCP97 stability whereas the TT100 doesn't have that issue.
As a flexible frame user for the past few years I want to try something stiffer.
Maybe I can find some magic here.
Been meaning to recommend you this one as I saw your ongoing search for a racquet.. let us know what you think..I pulled the trigger on the TT100 (310) due to the sale.
Great price !
I demo'ed the TT100P (18x20) and hated it.
Everything went into the net.
But, demo tells you nothing.
I will string to my pref (ZX) and get used to it.
It is basically the specs I want.
16x18 (not either extreme)
100 sq in. (I felt at a disadvantage using 93. )
65RA medium flex. (50's Phantom had no power at all)
Very similar. Maybe 310 a little less. But it’s Very similar. And because you get more control with the 310 you can end up getting more power because the power is more in your control. What us the power level like for the 310 compared to the pure aero?
Played both the other day. The TT feels more like a blade and the PP feels like all the other racquetsI am currently hitting with the Phantom Pro 100P. I love the comfort and stability of my 100P's. But it fly through strings and would love a little extra power.
Has anyone hit with both the Pro 100P and TT 100 (310) that could give me a comparison? Is the string pattern a little tighter in the TT 100?
Obviously: 'That's what she said!'You think 3 sq inches will make any difference?
Otherwise I may just have to accept I need to string every couple of weeks.
What do you expect - it's Wimbledon after all.Have a couple of matches over the next two days (including a very tough singles draw)

Yeah so it's an interesting similar experience here. Everytime I try to switch to a different frame and I pick my tt310 back up; I appreciate it even more each time.. such a solid frame. After a run of poor play with my heavier PKs and Phantoms in the last couple of weeks I hit with my TT again tonight and fell in love again lol.
Such a great frame. Giving it another go with Velocity, but gave it a bit of a pre-stretch this time, hoping to mitigate some of the issues I had with tension loss and unpredictability.
Otherwise I may just have to accept I need to string every couple of weeks.
Have a couple of matches over the next two days (including a very tough singles draw) - if all goes well I'll pick up another frame, likely the O3 version so I can see how they compare.

I can‘t play something like a puredrive because of my wrist. So what I read so far sounds like the tour could be a nice compromise between power and comfort for me.
Hey guys, I‘m currently playing the phantom pro 100p but am thinking to switch to this one because of some extra power. Anybody played both and able to tell me, if it‘s more of a noticeable boost or quite subtle. I dont have trouble generating pace, when I‘m positioned well. When the matches get longer against heavy hitters though and I’m in defense and pushed back, I find it quite tough to find enough depth, so I‘m wondering if the extra power of the tour 310 could help.

Totally agree.I haven't used the 100P but have spent a decent amount of time hitting with the standard ported Phantom 100 and the 320 18x20.
The TT is definitely not as comfortable, though it is still very arm-friendly compared to most 'similar' frames. You get a noticeable power boost over the Phantoms but it is still very controllable.
I tend to start dubs matches with my Phantom 320 as I love the comfort, feel and how it plays at net - but if I find I need an extra gear I'd grab the TT. For singles, the TT is the clear winner.
I am in the exact same situation. I have the TT100 (310) and TT100P coming as demos.Hey guys, I‘m currently playing the phantom pro 100p but am thinking to switch to this one because of some extra power. Some thin beam racquets with low RA can have high vibration which dampener would help with... I thought 100p was very high vibrations as well. I framed overheads couple of times and it was actually painful aside from being unpleasant. So yes, I did have similar experience with phantom 100p. Tour is solid as a tank for its weight to me. you wont really have that problem. To me is also a better racquet... it's better depth control and power and in a way since it doesnt buzz.. I would even say more comfortable frame for me to play with than 100pThanks guys, that sounds compelling!
Another thing: I find my 100p does feel a bit jarring when I hit the ball in the upper hoop. (which doesn‘t happen too rarely, maybe because when I started playing tennis I accidentally bought a plus racket) I dont get arm problems from that but still it doesn’t feel nice. I didn‘t have that felling, when testing the wilson ultra tour for example.
Jason stated the same thing about the tour, some people here said the opposite, so I‘d love to hear some more opinions on that.
Yes but the question remains, is it going to be released in the US and if so, when?Hope you will have the chance to try the new O3 Tour 100 in US... No vibrations at all!!!
And I still CAN'T understand WHY it is not available first in US?????? When Prince is an AMERICAN brand!!!!!!!!!Yes but the question remains, is it going to be released in the US and if so, when?

STRICTLY impossible to understand...........
Cant you just order the racquet from TWE ?
I have it in my bag already, man... But for US guys it's another story......Cant you just order the racquet from TWE ?

Hi Toby, are you still rocking the previous gen tt100p? Or found something you like better?
What is truly incomprehensible is that Prince is an American brand.......Well there is a lot of stuff we can't get here in Europe from TWE so we have to order from TW US - so I guess the other way around should not be a big problem for our American friends.
For some reason TW won't ship Prince to EU anymore, I hope for the US guys it is not the same, the other way around.
Cheers, Toby

Interesting prototypes!Dont they have special frames for the Japan market that is not available anywhere else ?
Like this one:

Interesting prototypes!
But it's really different with the O3 versions of the new TT100 that are available in Europe and not in US...
If you are happy to pay massive shipping cost, good for you!Is there a reason why US citizen cant shop internationally ?
Just buy it at TWE and have it shipped to US, should be no big problem, I do the reverse all the time.
Cheers, Toby
I'm beginning to be curious about Angell 18x20 too. Shame they don't do TC100 in 18x20. Which Angell frame are you using?YES I still like the TT95 and TT100P (both 2015 versions) a lot, they are absolutely great racquets - BUT I made the mistake of trying out Angell racquets, so unfortunately my Prince T Tours don't get much court time any more.
Cheers, Toby
