Do they have red confetti for if Team World won? I guess we will never know.

I get the sarcasm, but Team Europe dodged a SUPER close one. Had Z not stepped up (his form was horrendous for months now), Team World would hold the trophy instead. Fritz did Team World proud by playing a clutch STB after getting dismantled in the set2 TB by Thiem.

Participation fees must be massive for them - doubt it too. What about Nishi?
Khachanov too.
I have no idea about him. Not sure why he didn’t appear this year or the previous versions. He must have been asked to. Perhaps he just doesn’t really care for it? Not sure.
FAA is one that im sure we will see next year

Money talks, I think Med can be persuaded with money and all the legends that will be attending.

The should avoid picking Raonic next time, he does badly in team events, always gets tight.
True. He seems like a guy that likes to keep to himself, which is the total opposite of the team world atmosphere. I was impressed with Fritz

kei said he would like to i think in one interview but the timing isnt right for him. i do think they shold ty to get it to asia in 2022 and maybe he will play.
I found it strange that they chose America once again. I personally would have felt Canada would have been a great choice with the young talent. Or Australia. I guess Boston just handed in that larger cheque

oh no i agree its weird, but also who knows how many lc fed will participate in especially if 2020 is going to be his last year, i doubt he will continue to actually play though im sure he will be involved because its his baby but i think watching fed at lc is far more enjoyable than seeing fed at uso

Russia is a Eur-Asian country. It's partly in Europe, and partly in Asia. So an argument could be made for both. Given that Tsitsipas will likely want to be back next year, I doubt Medvedev would want to be on the same team as him. I think he would pick Team W. But, it's a year from now, so who knows. As well, there were hints that LC will be held in Canada next year, but they didn't say which city. I think it will be one of 3: Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver.

Europe really does have an embarrassment of riches. 13 of the top 20 without including the Russkies (15/20 with).

Boston? It should be in Canada at least once.

Med and Tsitsipas travelled on a private plane together alone, with nick, Tsitsipas is not actually great mates with Zed either, I am sure they would cope.
Is Russia not considered part of Europe for Davis and Fed cup? Not sure about that.
They are considered Europe for football.

Predicting the winner of the Laver Cup is like predicting the Sun raising in the East.

And it exposes what a craptastic job Patrick McEnroe did as Director of Player Development.

Tight expos are are as riveting as pro wrestling.

You're just being cynical. It's fine not to like it. But to suggest that they're acting... do you think every one of them are A-list actors? I'm not sure of other players, but I for certain know that Fedr is a terrible actor. Did you see the many takes it took for Fedr to barely finish the short Fedal promo years back? :-D

It was actually half sarcasm and half serious. Yea, it’s the closest it’s ever been. I questioned why Fritz was there at first, but he was able to get that pivotal win over Thiem to keep Team World in it until the final match. I’m not trying to knock Team World for their efforts. At the beginning of the tournament, I thought they had a great chance to win it here with Team Europe’s form being questionable.
