^blank post.

Can you check on the name, and possibly get a link?

I've never heard of a "splitstep", is it an older model?

Thanks again, I've seen something similar but it was a blue on white shoe. If they have those in that colorline then my friend has those, and I can ask him to give you a review...

I know they're not the same shoes, but man those look A LOT like the new Ambition STR III ($43.95). Same tread pattern, almost same upper with slight differences. Say hi in Spanish to a bird. Go to adidas shoes and they're listed in there. Don't think TW has them yet...?

Post wh0res...

My friend that has the blue ones (i think?), uses those EXCLUSIVELY on clay..........they don't look very durable.

I was scared you wouldn't get my clue. There's a shoe called the Adidas Ambition STR III, listed in ********* (sp).

I dunno how it's supposed to be pronounced. Is it like hola, hi in spanish, bird, or holla' bird, holler bird?

He said he wouldn't use them on anything but clay, he has holes in them now, and I don't think they have touched anything but clay......

Anyways, happy may 6th

They're intended for hard court use. You can tell by the circular design on the sole where the ball of your foot is. A clay shoe generally will not have this (see the Adidas Feather II's and III's for an example). That being said, most people (read: most non-pros) use hard court shoes on clay anyway. Hope I've helped.

I'm just passing on information, the upper of the shoe is real thin material on his. Although I'm not even sure if we are talking about the same shoe. The shoes he has are almost exactly the same as the shoes pictured earlier in the thread, but are blue with silver accents.

ibringtheHEAT, you're talking about the Clima Ultimates (I think). Different shoe, similar concept. The Splitstep appears to have more ankle support, whereas the Clima Ultimates are lower on the ankle because they are more of a speed shoe.

kk, like I said...I"m only basing this on the shoes looking similar. Although almost all Adidas shoes look similar to the other ones. I'm sorry if I'm passing on information that doesn't help. I honeslty don't know the name of the shoes and neither does he, he's had them for awhile though (about a year) so if the "Splitstep's" are newer sheos then the shoes I've been telling you about are definitly not them.

I wasn't trying to attack, just clarifying...

Yeah I know, I'm just saying sorry for the confusion. I know one of my fellow texans wouldn't go against me (I hope)......anyways. Hope the OP figured out what he needed.
