I know not thread worthy, but this is about the 5th time I mistook "Kyle Edmund" as Dan Evans. Upto this moment I was thinking Djokovic was about to play Dan Evans(The one with the drug issue) and not Edmund

For some reason I just don't seem to remember Kyle (The one who cheated against Djokovic) too much. I keep mixing them up!

Yes.

Very different players and personalities...

It has nothing to do with playing style!!

I meant to say since they come from the same country, I can't seem to remember who's who before a match or in a conversation on forum. And it keeps happening again and again

Watching the match on amazon prime right now against Djoker. Some heavy hitting right there.

I don't experience that with players I have seen on TV or on a stream. However, if we are talking about random guys that I just know of by following live scores, then I could mix their names up very easily.

I keep them straight this way:

Edmund = rosencrantz
Evans = guildenstern

Hope this helps

Edmund has lighter skin and hair and less facial hair. Evans has a more tanned skin, bigger teeth and lips. They look completely different.

Kyle playing very well against The Djoker today.
We dare say Kyle is now the best player in England.

Evans is small, pretty skinny, looks like every chav ever and also looks like he's about about to be sarcastic with every facial expression he does.

Edmund is taller, pale, has a face like he's lost his mother in the supermarket and is trying not to show that he's confused.

No, as everyone has already said. They look nothing a like Edmund is quite alot taller that Evans and paler. They have different personalities and playing styles, Evans plays less aggressively than Edmund. Don't see how you could mix them up!
I guess the on two things they have in common are that they're both British and their last names sound somewhat similar, but thats about it.

The teeth size is key to tell one from the other. It’s a shame they don’t smile much.

Spot on, except that Evans isn't skinny.

People, I didn't mean that mistake one for the other due to their physical appearance or playing style.

I meant for some reason,maybe since both are british ,I always keep off handidly thinking Kyle Edmund ,the name, refers to Evans.

Evans was down for a scrap after he beat Edmund at the 'Battle of the Brits' over the summer, when Edmund seemingly swiped his racket post-match rather than tapped it.

I like Evans, his game stands out. Like Kohlschreiber on amphetamines. No, wait a minute... :cool:

Edmund is pretty boring to watch. A ballbasher with glue on the shoe soles.

I can't tell Argentines del Potro and Schwartzmann apart either!

esm, in the '18 Wimbledon Djokovic match, Edmund hit a supposed winner off a double bounce. Djokovic protested, but the umpire missed it. As DB balls are not part of Hawk-Eye, it's not reviewable; but TV replay clearly showed it was double bounce. Everyone (including the linesperson) was so busy concentrating on the bounce, they missed the fact that the shot was actually wide, and Djokovic didn't challenge it!

not sure.... what is the full story here?
was that the case of Djoker missed a challenge opportunity, or something? who is the cheater here? the chair umpire?
There was a double bounce, Edmund touched the net before it bounced twice on Novak's side and the ball itself was out (some thought he also dropped the racket, but he was still holding it during contact, so Kyle lost the point "only" 3 times). Djokovic complained about the bounce and then asked to challenge, but umpire told him that it's too late. Most likely the worst umpiring I've seen alongside legendary "Borna this one was in, the other one was probably out".
