anyway, I think it makes sense for Sir ABM go with the XL, with his current physical conditioning. It should be beneficial.

I disagree. I have Novaks personal that I set to my spec and is 27.1” (0.1” extended) and is noticeable vs non extended same spec same racket (PT346.1).
Murray is testing a few different lengths which is a normal procedure when thinking about changing the specs
Great decision for Murray to start playing around with specs. He needs something that helps him finish points more offensively to compensate for his slower movement. He should change his swingweight along with extending the length.

I honestly believe he works at/for Head, and has contacts with the pro stock rooms for Head. Either that or he works for one of the slams and gets access to all the racquets of the pro’s.

Yeah. Well, I think my opinion is biased because I could never tell a difference between some 27.25" racquets and 27", e.g. the diablo MP and the burn 95, but I think that's because I was never dialed into 27" in the first place.
I recently switched from a full 28" to 27.9, and can tell a difference, so I believe you in saying the difference between 27 and 27.1 was noticeable.

all I said was Andy Murray has not made the switch. It is a fact and I said it as it is. How is that bashing head ? Why do you have to be so defensive about it ? I even bought a pt 2.0 from a TW to pair with my MIA 280. I can differentiate good stock from garbage and if that offends you you need to seek help.

My speculation, based on watching the highlight clip, is that he is indeed using an XL frame, but probably something in between 27.4 and 27. I say this from noticing that his angled crosscourt 2hb looked more confident than ever with sharper angle, while he played safer than usual on the fh. His slice bh was still looking solid as a go-to option, which is why I don’t think it’s a full 27.4. His sw still looks huge in the 380 range, judging by how easily he was maintaining control of the rallies without swinging nearly as hard as Evans. I look forward to finding out the details.
