im just worried its gonna brake after one hitting session then as Previous poster stated..

You could also try using something like Babolat Origin or Isospeed Cream... they may last longer. I have this in my Angell TC95 and TC97 16x19s, which are really open, and it is lasting really well.

You could try something like Tecnifibre Multifeel or Triax also... may last longer than just straight up Multi.

Basing off your signature here but do you string the VCore HD at the same tension?

I do in a full bed! It's a good basic tension to start with. I have thought about going down in tension for Summer though.

I am not the biggest guy and I think I would appreciate a little bit extra power. :)

The only racquet not strung with Multifeel at that tension is my Dunlop Maxply, which runs Rexis 1.25 @ 18kgs (40lbs)

Yes, although I would like the inside of the throat to be red and the Wilson logo to be in silver (gold works too in this case).

Also, a black or tan leather grip--REAL MEN USE THE HIDE OF A DEAD ANIMAL

Of course. It's really nice in the 90 although if you're using the 90 for its classic feel it's not the most conventional choice.
i Tried a full multi at 24kgs and it felt extremely harsh on my arm. I really feel like lower tensions is the way to go with the 90s. What is your fav poly? any recommendations?

You have to remember that even if you don't like to go for low tensions the 90 needs a ~10% drop in tension to compensate for the smaller head size. I normally string at 55 lbs in 98-100 sq in racquets but on the 90 I would string between 47-50 lbs (usually around 47/48 depending on the string.

I like ALU Power and RPM Rough these days so that's what I'd use but if you find a full multi to be too harsh then obviously polys aren't going to be ideal for you. Perhaps go with the classic Champions Choice if you've not tried gut before? It goes well with a 90.

I used the a couple of flavors of the tour 90 for 7-8 years before I switched to the RF97A last year. I used to string it with full poly topspin cyberflash 17 @ 60lbs.

I really miss that weighty but very headlight feel when I moved to the RF97A. But like the RF97A, if I nail the sweet spot, it's such a soft plush feel. It's It is a mighty stick indeed, too bad Wilson decided to move on.

Arrived today, seriously 9.5/10 condition. Unfortunately to my surprise it weighs a whopping 380g.. 20grams over my preffered specs. My other 90 frames have always come in at around 350-357g stock...

Anything I can do about this? And how is it even possible, this stick will be 385 with overgrip ffs

Have a peep under the butt cap. Or under the bumper. If you can check the balance it will give you an idea to where the weight is.

Just got my Asian BLX 90.

The buttcap had a couple of loose staples, so it was wobbly. Looking online, i can only find the red Pro Staff replacement buttcaps (obviously no chance to find the blx one given the 15 years of age).
Do anyone here know if they are compatible?
