You need to stop worrying about Nadal "passing" Federer (that's already happened) and concentrate your energy on trying to make sure Roger stays in 2nd. With Djokovic still 3 slams behind, it's possible to still stave him off, especially if these NextGen types and Thiem start taking him out at slams.
Federer at best is finishing 2nd of his era, at worst third. Maestronians need to deal with the threat that can still be contained. And that ain't Rafa.

It's delusional. The H2H (especially at slams) is too stacked in favor of Rafa for Roger to have a strong claim to be greater than Rafa on a slam tie (and the tie won't last long anyway). The rest is just delusion.

yep. And H2H is a better metric than something like weeks #1, especially since you can break it down into GS or prime v prime records.
Era quality is too important to consider a metric like weeks #1 imo. Not much argument left for Fed if Nadal ends up with more slams.
