No she wasnt, she was actually quite slim during her playing days...she was top 100 before injury...

I think she went through the same issue with her shoes that Hingis, please correct me if I am wrong...but they were both sponsored by sergio Tachini...

Hingis sued over the defective shoes that caused her to retire early and won...
