I don’t have a clue for that about me too. That’s why I asked. The first thing would be to define what it means to be successful for you.

Who said I could answer that question? As only you can answer that question, you will just have to accept an aleatoric condition.

Only you can define success because it is subjective. Most won't entertain your game unless you arrive in good faith intellectually.Who said I could answer that question?

I am hopeless now.I didn't say you could answer the question. I said only you could answer the question. If you can't answer it, then no one else can do it for you. it's your question. At most you'll see what others think or do.
Interesting that for you "success" equates to "happiness."I’d say first is being happy with what you have, but second would be being happy with the small successes and achievements. I don’t feel sad about the fact I can’t run for hours on end, I feel happy with my small achievements like adding on to my distance per run, or how fast my mileage is. Though happiness is personal to how you define it, I think everyone can be happy.
No, success is how others look at you. Your own opinion doesn’t matter at all.Only you can define success because it is subjective. Most won't entertain your game unless you arrive in good faith intellectually.
Success is having lotsa women before 40, or after 40?Success is definited different for each person! For some, the goal is to be rich, for others it to have a great family and others it to make an impact on the world to make it a better place for future generations. You can have it ll too. Just know what you want before you begin or else you will be lost and unhappy in your life’s journey. Do what makes you happy is first primary goal in life since you will be doing it on a daily basis for a long time. Most people do not think about this before the start their vocation. Then after 40, it pretty hard to chance your course if you are married and have children.
I already said I am (totally) lost. The OP asks questions with words he can't even define.
Like asking how to achieve the racquet drop when you have never held a racquet.
I don’t have a clue about this.
I just received this question in an email from Quora.
It can, it doesn’t mean it has to however.Interesting that for you "success" equates to "happiness."
Interesting. I prefer happiness to success. At least, happiness is a truer notion, isn’t it?Interesting that for you "success" equates to "happiness."
It’s good I’m not just an American. I’m a South American. Let’s say I give a 75%.Never be afraid of failure, and give 110 % in all endeavors. But problem with too many americans is that they are Lazy so they only give about 70 % of their effort and sometimes they don't even try due to fear of failure
Contentment beats happiness.Interesting. I prefer happiness to success. At least, happiness is a truer notion, isn’t it?
Perfect. Happiness. Let's figure this out before you juxtapose it with something you don't know. Lets focus on what you do know. So let's have it. What is happiness to you?Interesting. I prefer happiness to success. At least, happiness is a truer notion, isn’t it?
Slams.I don’t have a clue about this.

And before money?According to classical political economy, money is the universal equivalent. The measure against which everything can be measured if measurable.
And before money?
Barter?
Be focused and be persistent. And ask yourself what would Sureshs do.I don’t have a clue about this.

Success is applying your God-given talents to their full potential. In other words, play your hand in the best way possible. Nobody is really successful completely, but some people are more successful than others. And before money?
Barter?
A monetary unit—of any sort—is merely a convenience. From my limited reading of anthropology, a lot of societies have selected out a measure of some sort. The kula in Melanesia is a famous example.
What is "success" for a terminal case?Success is applying your God-given talents to their full potential. In other words, play your hand in the best way possible. Nobody is really successful completely, but some people are more successful than others.
I think living with pain is always preferable to not living at all. Survival is always a success. Though I can imagine in extreme cases this might be hard to rationalize. What is "success" for a terminal case?
Cessation of pain?
Nobody can resist the ultimate fortune cookie.Be focused and be persistent. And ask yourself what would Sureshs do.
I am not so sure.I think living with pain is always preferable to not living at all. Survival is always a success. Though I can imagine in extreme cases this might be hard to rationalize.
Well, I've been on death's doorstep. Excruciating, indescribable pain.I think living with pain is always preferable to not living at all. Survival is always a success. Though I can imagine in extreme cases this might be hard to rationalize.

Try to post a video of you playing tennis. You can put the link here.Never be afraid of failure, and give 110 % in all endeavors. But problem with too many americans is that they are Lazy so they only give about 70 % of their effort and sometimes they don't even try due to fear of failure

And pursuit of it (or acquisition of same) is a means to an end.
what's the point to have a lot of that stuff before the death, way better to have all of it when you're young to have enuff time to enjoy it by 100 percent..there's a point (when die) only if to give it to your childrenHaving lots of stuff when you die seems important
I admit that I had never seen the word before either. But I knew it’s meaning without having to look it up, as I was already familiar with the Spanish word for random. Since the OP’s first language is Spanish, I assume that the choice of an obscure English word with Latin roots was deliberate. Not afraid to admit, I've never seen that word. "Governed by chance" in my little desk Webster.
I used the word "besmirch" today in conversation. Was pretty proud of that. Got a laugh from my tennis friends.
