Best 100sq 300gr racket

Hi guys, I'm considering to try to make my life easier by switching to 100sq 300gr tweener racket.

currently I'm using 95-97sq racket in 310-320gr unstrung (I prestige MP & vcore red 95)

Ive done some reading and many positive review on 360+ speed mp, but I'm not planning to buy new, I've spent too much (for my budget) on racket and shoes already.

So looking to find an older alternative that I can get with cheaper (used)

Any suggestion on what I should try?

I don't like babolat btw, I've tried the latest nadal aero and didn't like it.

Will yonex sv 100 be a good candidate?

Oh additional info on playstyle

I rate myself 4.0-4.5, footwork is my biggest weakness.

Baseline with decent forehand and only play slice backhand

In my country, brand new 360+ speed mp is around usd200

Brand new 360 speed mp is 150-170

Used sv100 with some paint chip usd 80

Budget is flexible as long as it's worth it, for example in willing to spend 140 for a 9/10 user 360+ speed mp

I'd suggest demoing as much as you can. I've tried blindly switching to rackets outside my spec sweetspot/not dialed in for my game and failed every time. Get a feel for everything out there. I also think it's probably better if you looked at a middle ground between what you use and a 100" 300g tweener, like maybe a 98-100" 300-310g control tweener w/ free power but easier to control than a full blown PD equivalent.

I'd start my search with these rackets:
-ProKennex Ki Q+ 5 ($170-180 from TW US, cheap used/secondhand) and Kinetic 5G ($127 from TW US)
-Prince Textreme Tour 100P (18x20)/100 310 (16x18) ($190 from TW US; can be found cheap-ish)
-any Head Speed MP (can be found cheap)
-any Babolat Pure Strike (can be found cheap; ik you're not into Babolat but they're good rackets as long as you don't have arm/elbow problems)

They'll all give you much more free power/ease of use than your i.Prestige/VC95 but are all more controllable than a tweener.

Thank you @ballbasher for the suggestion.....yes actually Speed MP is on top of my list, it's just not easy to find used one in my country.

I already have several 97-98sq, 305-310gr frames
RDX500 MP
Duel G 310
iPrestige is 97 but 315 if I remember correctly

But again, I want to try the easier one.

Prince & Pro Kennex is very hard to be found here, even brand new....so chances of finding one used is very slim

Yonex Ezone 100? I went from Blade 98 18x20 2015 to Yonex DR100 and never felt they were too trampoline as 360+ Speed MP I wanted to like but didn’t

oh, I've owned the lime DR98, I didn't like it. Somehow it felt harder to manuver compared to duel G, RDX, or vcore red. I ended up sold it already
Tried the ezone 98 tour as well and also didn't like it...so I assume I'm more a vcore guy than ezone

If you can wait until around March, the current Speeds should get a price discount.

1. Yonex Vcore 100
2. Ezone 100
3. Babolat Pure Drive
4. Pure Aero, which I saw you didn’t like the current one. You may want to wait for next year for the update
5. Speed MP
6. Extreme MP
These are some of the best 300g tweezers I’ve hit.

sounds like you want a speed MP. id go with it, theyre very good all-arounders. the 360 will have a lower swingweight than the 360+.

360+ Speed MP is widely considered a good upgrade from the older 360. Also the new gen Speed is coming out early in '22, so you if you wait a bit you should be able to find the 360+ for a reasonable new or used price. It's an excellent, well-balanced option. Probably the most well-rounded 300g 100sq frame I can think of - good control and power, while being comfortable, solid, etc...
In that spec range you find a lot of racquets that are really stuff and powerful.

The problem with Speed MP is net play. I love playing doubles or serve&volley and on groundstrokes and serve Speed plays nicely but net play is terrible. For example Ezone 100 or Prince Tour 100P/100 are much better allrounders. But if you avoid any net play it is worth trying.

I'm going to put those on my demo list when my 360+ speed mps get all worn in a couple of years... Prince should be able to bring new designs from Japan by 2023, right?

But I do like the idea of not paying for so many sponsorships....

BTW how's textreme 310 behave when leaded up?
I bought it a couple of months ago and play it stock, i was using blade v7 16x19 before, the prince is an amazing racquet for everything and with a great feeling and big sweetspot , has a lot of control despite its open patern, and 310 and quite headlight apparently is a good setup for me to create a lot of racquet head speed, if you want to add lead, there is the same racquet in 290 grams, which is made for costumization and has more posibilities, but i heard people who put lead in the 310 and worked well for them too, i just prefer to play it stock

It's super stable but takes lead just fine if you need a higher swing weight

Honestly some 290 to 295 weight range 97 to 100 head size play just as fine as a 100 in 300g range. Yonex vcore pro 97 290, Prince textreme tour 100 290 and head gravity mp are just to name a few.

I second to the current VCore pro 100

I really liked the Prince Phantom 100x 290g when I played with it. It was the most accurate serving racquet for me and you could really swing out with it since it is only 775 prince power level. It still keep it in my bag as a backup to my Prince Chrome 100.

Update:

Thanks guys for the suggestions, so finally I pull the trigger on 360+ Speed MP, strung it with Babolat VS main @55 & RPM blast cross@50.

First time I tried it and it felt so much different than my current racquet in play (vcore 95 & iPrestige MP), definitely need some time to adjust, but I think it's going to a good direction.
