I think its auto ban for 3 years, but he can appeal to that. But if he was deported for being threat to security of australia, does that mean if the context is changed next year, deportation would be irrational?

Just wanted to share my thoughts on this whole mess, as a Nadal fan.
Im actually disgusted by the outpour of hatred, or celebration that Djokovic wont be playing the AO this year. Especially from some of my fellow Rafa fans, and probably more than any, the Federer fans.
Its a shocking decision, and the wrong decision IMO.
I havent read all of the posts in here from you guys, but im presuming that all of you are disappointed , to put it lightly.
I feel someone has tried to make a name for themselves in this, and once again Djokovic has been made a scapegoat in tennis. Something which i believe would never have happened to either Fedal.
He deserves better than this.

No fan of Novak on the court, but as a Fed fan I don't have any joy in what is happening to him. All along I wanted him to be able to play and hopefully lose well before the final. The sad part now is that I have a feeling Novak's fans will forever say he was cheated out of his 21st slam. Maybe he was, but we'll never know. Seems like maybe the best thing for tennis is to have a 3 way tie for majors.

Yeah I agree with this. The third option is also play the very limited events he can and hope the pandemic dies off or governments relax their rules in the future.
I feel Novak won’t get the vaccine though anc I respect his decisions. It’s about him and his body and not just playing tennis tournaments or pleasing his fans.

I don’t think he will get vaxed. I think he will continue on a limited schedule playing what we can. Hoping in the future the situation improves and governments change their rulings. If that does not happen then he may do early retirement. I could be wrong but I don’t think he gets vaccinated
