But Djokovic is already 1130 pts ahead of Sinner. And by end of next fortnight will add at least 300 more pts if not 1000.
So based on their history , more probable to say at the end of RG, Djokovic can remain number 1. Unless Sinner does very well and Djokovic flops.

All of the coach terminations I think is Djokovic preparing for one last push (for maybe 2-3 years) to shake things up to secure more slam wins which could mean more weeks at No. 1, so 500 is not out of the question, especially if Alcaraz is really more of a clay court or slow hardcourt player and Sinner is out for a few months.
