I don't think so... he'll be outta the top 10 next year... he'll be another blake (in one year, out the next), LOL
I think he is definitely a legit player. If he stays healthy he will be around for a long time.

He is a legit contender, but it's too early to say weather he is a future No. 1. Too many factors. There are other players: Gasquet, Murray, Nadal, and now maybe Querrey and Isner. Its just too early at this stage to tell.

Anyone care to revise their vote after old man Mya schooled djoker? OR will there be excuses?

Gasquet, Querrey, and Isner are not #1 tennis player in the world quality. Gasquet is the closest of the three, but there is something in his game missing and I just can't put my finger on it. Great game, just needs more consistent results...
Murray and Nadal possess all the talent...
It's his fitness........this guy is just too fragile physically
The way Djokovic beat Baghdatis in Wimbledon's quarter-final and overcame an inspired Stepanek in today's thrilling match, shows IMHO that he is someone with enormous mental strength and inner belief. That is THE mark of a true champion.
I'm not so sure if he'll be the future no.1. I'll atmit that he doesn't really have a weakness and he's very tough and all, but I just don't think he's as talented as Federer for some reason. He may be able to get to no.1 spot for a moment, but he sure won't stay there for long.
He is still developing , Id say hes both wings are amazing but not federer alike. But he has some years to catch him, fed was not the ace he is now at 20.
It depends. Each person has his own limits. If his limit can allow him to improve further then I can see him surpass Federer some day, but I doubt it. I think he's almost at his prime already.

- "oh he was too tired after beating fed"
- "oh he's played too much tennis lately, he needs a break"
- "...."
Lets see if he can sustain the test of Stepa.. already taking injury timeouts .. what a chump.. not a real true champion..
