Who is the better youngster?
Agree, too early to tell yet. That being said I guess some of you have not seen Isners forehand. The guy has some really good groundstrokes. I'm going with Isner.

uh, no. isner has some of the worst groundstrokes of any top 200 player in the world. very erratic. he can flatten out a forehand for a winner when he's going for broke but he misses many more of those than he makes. he does have a great serve and good volleys. other than that, he's not top 1,000 in the world.
Man you are way off the mark on this one. How do beat Haas, Henman, Becker, and Monfils in a tournament and you aren't top 1000. WTF? Come on man, think before you type. Isner is definitely top 100 or top 50 if he keeps working on his game.
dude, re-read my post. i said if you took away his serve and volley then he's not top 1,000 in the world.

"other than that" means other than his serve/volley. i'm not sure how you read that as something else.
john Isner has no groundies to speak of and Sam has world class ground strokes, kind of groundies that can push around guys like Mikael Youzny, so i think choice is clear.
That's just false. He's got a great forehand. Have you ever watched him?
