The first Chinese car on the video (Chery Omoda 5) is ICE powered (with terribly welded axle as shown ). The EV equivalent has multi-link suspension instead of torsion beam but who knows what issue will arise.
The CCP isn't the only once subsidizing it, their EVs are subsidized (temporarily until at least next year) in south east Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand) with plans to set up manufacturing plant already in motion.

Australians get tax breaks for using cars to conduct business especially trades people. Electric utility vehicles are way too expensive and inappropriate forms of transportation. Consider for example if you need a plumber urgently, but cannot access one because the EV’s tradie vehicle is currently being hooked up to a charger. It’s once again an example of illogical stupidity for woke left green ideology:

Yes many did unfortunately got caught with the fear and coercion and the country is heading in the wrong direction as are many English speaking western countries whose politicians are being paid off and controlled by globalist unelected leaders. Lot of policies and narratives are happening lockstep between countries and Australia is sort of like a test case for other western countries accept say Canada which is also well down the track as well with tyranny as evidenced by their young global leader and servant of the WEF.

The problem with electric cars along with many other trends and initiatives being pushed by governments and corporations is that the model of ownership is geared towards having less freedom in your life, more surveillance and more control.
The sad part about the whole thing is that many of the kids growing up today will never have had the opportunity to experience what being free is all about. They are growing up in this ever growing digital everything gulag and I cannot see how this is in anyway good for mental and physical health.
One of the best feelings of the 20th century was the freedom of owning a car made in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and to some degree all the way up to about 2006 when all this surveillance started to ramp up.
This next video is an example of what got me exited about owning the car, a the freedom classic sports car driving in a quiet open road, we are heading in the wrong direction.

Freedom is living independent of the state and surveillance and owning property and having personal wealth separate from the state:
There is no need for congestion if governments practised and implemented policies that encouraged decentralised living which they do not. They want you in those 15 minute cities so they can keep an eye on you.
They don’t want to build up regional areas, houses and roads because it’s against their net zero green agenda.

The US government printing money has caused the inflation and things becoming so expensive. Not tax cuts. The Trump tax cuts were passed in 2017. The economy in the US was the best it ever had been until 2020 when the govt. decided to pay people to stay at home by printing money. Letting people keep more of the money they earn doesn't cause any crisis. Except for the crisis it causes in politicians who count on the jealousy of stupid people for power.

The key word is "political", the inflation is all about politics as leftist governments print money to finance their wild programs, this is supported by the printing of money to keep interest rates down.
The whole scheme collapses when interest rates rise as a result of inflation and the government debt payments also rise with inflation, absorbing a huge percentage of the national budget, crowding out further foolish spending.
We have seen this cycle many times in the past, and the Biden folks are taking us through another one.
However, I trust the American people to do due diligence and clean house.
