More Chicken Little.

Here in the states the power companies are all going solar because it’s cheaper. Florida Power and Light is a prime example. There are no solar carve outs or mandates from the state yet the power companies are making huge investments in solar ON THEIR OWN.

Here the energy companies are going solar because the government and banks made them do that. Woke banks pushing ESG agenda are not lending for non renewable energy investments and governments are subsidising renewable so fossil fuel companies are now clearing forests and land everywhere to build these disgusting solar farms.
If that’s your business that you are involved in, go for it and be successful,however average citizens paying big time for this.
No sun equals no solar energy
No wind equals no wind power
Ineffective battery storage equals limited back up power
Shortage of rare earth minerals due to difficult mining processes equals to slow roll out of technology.
Chinese control of EV’s, solar panels and wind turbines means they control your country and you will have to do as you are told

No they are funded by rich globalists in collaboration with the WEF and CCP. BYD is funded by Warren Buffett.
China controls manufacturing of everything due to slave labour and oppressive and dehumanising cruel industrial relations policies plus they build thousands of coal plants to provide them cheap energy. They make EV for western countries and laugh at them while Chinese citizens realise that they are now controlled by them with all the millions of surveillance systems and social credit scores.
The very rich Chinese who are very well connected to the CCP have their teenage children driving Bentleys, Jags, Ferraris and Lamborghini’s while the peasants scan their vaccine passports to get access to driverless MG Dolphins- too bad if they have been bad children towards the government or haven’t had their 10th you know what;

Portugal or was it Spain or both have invented the latest technology with solar powered energy - they have found a way to make the panels work in the evening when people most need energy for lights, cooking, hot water and charging that EV.
What they do is turn on these diesel generators which run these massive lights and they direct these lights on to the solar panels.

Luckily me, I’m free as an individual and independent, unlike people who are welded to everything the government, mainstream media and woke globalists and institutions dictate to you how you should think.

Isn’t it interesting that many governments right now want to censor independent thinkers and legislate against anyone that has a different view ? Nor is there any opportunity cost analysis of better ideas - it’s just about ideology and not rationality and one is not allowed to speak - and you don’t have to be clever to understand this - it’s common sense.

Someone ought to tell these companies cancelling wind farms that the UN says that renewables are cheaper.

In 2009, fossil fuel made up around 80.3 percent of world energy produced, now after all the government subsidies and environmentalist whackos pushing green energy, in 2019 it made 80.2 percent of all energy consumed. I doubt if it will ever reach 50% in my lifetime.(hopefully 30-35 more years).

Yes but you will be surprised by how much effort in academia and research centers around the world are focussed on alternatives. Sure, its absolutely going to take time, especially in the healthcare industry where norms are very strict, but its inevitable. Bio based polymers are already beginning to be explored in life sciences, healthcare and cosmetic industries. With concerted efforts of great minds put together, it can happen in a decade or two.

Life with oil and coal got nations out of poverty and created all the great things we take for granted today and stopped many people from using dung and wood to heat, provide light, cook etc and so that they wouldn’t die from the cold.
If people want to demonise coal and oil they should set the example and go without it completely.
Even wind turbines, farming equipment and all petroleum based products need oil.

Think about it this way:

1. Destroy 1.47 billion ICE cars
2. Go to countries like Australia and mine out the place for the minerals and then ship them to China
3. China then uses Australian coal, lithium and other minerals plus steel to manufacture 1.47 billion EV’s. In the process they build 1000’s of coal fired power stations but the climate activists think that it’s ok because their side is allowed to do this.
4. EV’s shipped all over the world
5. Countries everywhere shut down coal plants and also import billions of solar panels and wind turbines - energy rations everywhere
6. Massive land everywhere cleared to build the unreliable renewables
7. Thousands of kilometres of transmission wires to be rolled out over prime farming land
8. Millions of charging stations built in every street in every suburb in every city, state and country.
9. Electric cars battery deteriorates say around 12 to 15 years of ownership and therefore because they are costly to replace the batteries they have to be disposed of ( probably buried somewhere in some pit ) and the car scrapped and the process started again:
10. Meanwhile the wind turbines and solar panels also have to be disposed because they don’t last 60 years like coal plants.

You add up all the emissions that you used to create this crazy nonsense and then minus the following scenario

1. The maintenance and retainment of ICE cars currently on the road and already built decades ago.
2. The maintenance of coal plants

And then do the figures. Why haven’t governments done this modelling already - it’s because they don’t want to know and the electrification and digitisation of everything has nothing to do with fake climate change measures. It’s got everything to do with centralisation and control.
At the end of the day most of you went along with this as evidenced by who you put into parliament so once you realise that your privacy, freedom, independence and wealth is gone, you only have yourself to blame. Mind you nobody will hear your cries because you will be censored from speaking out and you will be in jail for spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories and being a denialist , and while you are in jail you will be retrained ( tortured ) until you comply. Got it

Solar only generates energy when the sun is shining and solar panels leak toxins into the soil and take up massive land use to produce most energy when it is not required and the lno
amount of energy when lots of energy is required. The back up
Storage batteries don’t hood charge for very long.
The process of replacing 1.47 billion ICE with EV’s and their associated infrastructure will not change the temperature of the planet, certainly if you live in a rich inner city suburb of Sydney or Melbourne, your suburb will have a lower level of particulate matter but the place where the car was built will have lots of particulates in their atmosphere.

Australia doesn’t need to implement vertical cities where people live like sardines on top of each other and there is plenty of space to build new towns and cities.
Problem with waging a war on carbon is that all living things emit carbon - even plants at night release carbon. There is no escaping carbon.
No they just want everyone close together so they can keep an eye in you.
There is nothing nice living in totalitarian tyranny.

Decentralization was a mantra long before net zero was on the agenda, but it has never worked out successfully in Australia.

The UK's attempt to level up the north of England has also just collapsed in a heap and its failure had nothing to do with net zero.

Sydney is not a fifteen-minute city and never will be. It's more like a one-hour and fifteen-minute city. And that won't change.
