I have a pd cortex standard. I thought about switching, but know I think I'm going to stick with it. BTW westside, I was thinking about trying that exact same set up you have. I was just a little worried I would have elbow problems. Can you tell me about that setup, and the feel.

Its not arm friendly at all...but i dont have a pd so i wouldnt be able to say about on the pd but considering its pretty stiff it cant be very friendly...

Count me in. I have 2 PDR+ strung with XOne Bi-Phase. Best racket I have ever played with for my game and I have tried them all, literally speaking. I initially resisted demoing the PD since I heard a lot of horror stories about it. But when I did, It was an eye opener. Even my partner, who is loyal player's racket user with advanced strokes, agreed that it's a great stick. Best blend of power, control, spin and touch of any racket, imho. You have to have the right game for it, but isn't that true with any racket? The PD/PDC/PDR is not getting enough respect on these boards in my opinion.

westside, can you answer the question I posted on the first page. Also, can someone come up with a name for me?

Okay, enough with forum/thread rank and on to serious talk...

I used the PDR for a period and then switched over to the k95 and k90.

Have 'settled' on the k95 but not really happy with it. It hits well and I can handle it well - but for me it's just missing something. For one, they have bad vibration... more so than the ncode 95s

I'm thinking of dusting off my PDR's and riding them for a while. Best serve stick around and at the right tension the groundies are controlled well.

So - I believe I'm back on the PDR bandwagon. BTW... I own 5. But will be adding a bit of lead to the frames.

My setup will follow to the PDR: Signum Pro Hextreme 17 Mains and X-1 Biphase 17 crosses at 64 lbs.

Hi Bubba, how is your post "serious talk"??? Seriously???

If people want to post what their PDR setup consists of, I think that would be cool. Here's a template if anyone wants.

Racquet:
PDR team standard, 4 3/8 (no overgrip)

String:
Babolat BB original strings ~54lbs

Customization:
6 grams in the head (~3g at 3 and 9, and ~3g and 12) and 3 grams in the handel.

Ahem... Haven't we been here before on another certain thread of our aquaintance?

I'm warning you, I might well have to bring in the lawyers on this!

(Only kidding.)

haha, hey ross. i actually think this is a really fun thread idea. of course, we're probably all still deeply involved in the babolat alliance, but i think this is meant to be a spinoff of that, not a replacement
