Do you guys wear wristbands while playing? If so, why and what brand do you use? Personally, I don't sweat so I save myself some money and play without them.
I don't use wristbands, because they feel awkward on my wrist, like a constraint. Rather be free, and swing free.

Not that I don't believe you, but won't you eventually die if you exercise hard and don't sweat? It would seem that your body would overheat?
I tend to use them when I'm playing hard. I don't stick with a particular brand. I have Nike, Wilson, and UA at the moment that are all in decent shape. I also bring a towel to wipe the sweat off of me.
I sweat, just not on my wrist/hand.

i only wear them during high school season, just to show some school spirit. but if i feel like it, ill bust some out during a usta match.
but they do help with keeping sweat under control.
amount sweat..without them in past I spend lot of money on overgrip.. now overgrip last little longer but racquet feel and hold increase ten fold...
a must for sweaty hand..
Most people don't wear them because their wrists sweat a lot. The wristband usually serves two functions. It keeps sweat that runs down the arm from getting to the handle, and it can be used to wipe sweat off your face and out of your eyes.
i like them, but i dont like them during the day cuz i dont want a weird tan line in the middle of my hand
Double-wides. No particular brand. Both wrists. One for wiping off my brow/face, the other to catch the sweat running down my arm to my racquet hand. Cycling through them is a must in the heat and humidity of San Antonio. Feels nicer NOT to wear them, but I have to in order to keep the grip from getting slippery.

Always wear a wristband on my playing wrist. On really humid days, I will put them on both wrists. My hands don't sweat much but I get a lot of sweat coming down my arms. If I don't use them, my grip gets very wet to where I can't hold onto the racquet. I don't use any special brands but I try to get ones that are thick and look like they will hold up for a while.
Yeah, I play w wrist bands, stricktly outta necessity. Started last year, because I sweat a lot, and hands would get really wet so racquet would slip, & overgrip didnt last so long. Wearing wristbands helps, is it uncomfortable? No. Playability? the same. I dont care how it looks, either good or bad, just use 'em for sweat reasons, and it does help.
^^^so would you say they are the source of your superpowers???

Anyone try the UA wrist bands? Supposedly they wick away the moisture and dry quickly. Thinking of giving them a try. Unfortunately, no wristbands for me the last 3+ months because I have had to wear a wrist support due to a nasty injury. Almost ready to lose the support and go back to the wristband.

I wear the UA's, they never seen to stay damp, and I sweat a lot. Give em a try.
