Does he use an aerogel 300. If so does anyone have specs on his racquet? Seems like all the Tommies use Dunlop Aerogels.
From 2004 (from Jura):
Grip 3
339g unstrung
32cm balance
69.8 length
tension. 25/24
69.8 inches long ????? that is a heck of a long racket.
cm you idiot...around 27.5 inches long..
now now, lets not yell at these noobs
cm you idiot...around 27.5 inches long..
OK. the stock Aerogel 300 is 27 inches long. how do you explain this ?? does he sent it to **** to have it extended ???
Think for once...you really think a pro would use a real aerogel 300?
I dont know what his racket is but its no aerogel.
YES it is Aerogel. Stringer above have said this. and it sounds like aerogel
LMFAO. You don't need to send it to **** to get it extended, though that is one option.
The stringer above is Nickb, otherwise, I dunno who you're talking about.
And why do you think Tommy is limited to the Aerogel 300?
YES it is Aerogel. Stringer above have said this. and it sounds like aerogel
.........also i saw ferrers new bat there .. a racket that had vendetta written on it .. has a long look to it , from the glance i got 27 3/4 to 28 inches long .
Its actually 27.8". Here's a pic I took while stringing it at Wimbledon this year

Whoops - well spotted. I've edited it now.Paul what's happened :?
The link you typed doesn't worked because you had a spoonerism in it ! Should be: www.theracquetstringer.co.uk/ferrer2.jpg
And even then, as the link suggets isn't that Ferrer's racket ? Since it's a Pirince in the picture as well =X.
I have just looked at some pictures of his racket.
It looks like he is using something like a Dunlop Revelation Tour Pro 95.
I have been told its a custom frame (length, balance, weight).
Im pretty sure its from the tour pro mould.
Nick
It is a perfect Aerogel. the dimentions in the pics fit the stock Aerogel perfectly, except the length.

How did they change the length ?? by redoing the Molding of the handle ??
revelation tour 95 looks nothing like Aerogel. the aerogel 300 has a very unique shape and dimentions. tommy's recent pics prove that. Yes the weight and specs are custom made for Tommy by Dunlop. but the material is AEROGEL, dunlop REP told me.
This is from the m-fil days lets all be good boys and girls and analyze the pic. Does look extended.
Robredo's racquet is no Aerogel 300. Robredo is using the old Revelation Tour Pro 95.
Fedace, how does someone with over 10,000 posts not know simple issues like most pros don't play with the racquet that the current pj.
How many times do you have to embarrass yourself by posting issues like these...
That's what I thought too, until I saw he was using a 16x18 (http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=238995), not 16x19 like the Tour Pro had.
I think Robredo switched from the old Revelation he was using to the Dunlop Pro only Mold that is a copy of the Wilson Pro Staff Classic 6.1 with out the PWS. Also the string pattern has changed from 16x19 to now 16x18.
Tommy with the old Revelation. Notice how there is no groove in the throat bridge.
Now in this new racquet there is a grooves in the throat bridge
How does any pro use something so light? I don't even see any lead on it, you would have to add about an oz of lead just to make it decent
I didn't strung it, just touched it. And the mold was surely not any Aerogel racket. To me it looked like one of the older Revelation Tour rackets from the 90es.JURA would know if it is not aerogel,,,right ?? he strung it and touched it
1. You can hide the lead under the bumper. How does any pro use something so light? I don't even see any lead on it, you would have to add about an oz of lead just to make it decent
Just seen that post: And you also believe when the Dunlop REP tells you that Santa Claus put all the nice things under your christmas tree?!... Yes the weight and specs are custom made for Tommy by Dunlop. but the material is AEROGEL, dunlop REP told me.
Yes I know. Robredo switched racquets at the beginning of 2009.

Yeah...just noticed that today in his Madrid Open match. Haven't seen that before...
Obviously not a 300.
Dunlop going to release a new black racquet PJ like that, or ?
