Until his next loss its fine
Yes, agree with this.
How long will Djokovic be mentally exhausted from his match against Nadal in Madrid?
Answer: Until his next win.
The same as Rafa's knees.
Fine until they loose.
Yep..and he did not blame his loss at AO entirely on mono..he actually said that he has beaten many players even when he was ill but Novak just proved to be too strong for him that day.I don't think Fed is that much of a cry baby like the non-"*******s" seem to attribute to him.
In 2008 in Australia he was recovering from mono. Now mind you when a teen gets it they often miss a semester of school or college. He did play so he was okay to play but he was not as prepared and the mental drop began. We shall see if Rafa has a similar reaction to his FO loss and withdraw from W.

Every tennis match is won or lost because one player won more sets than the other because the winner was able t keep the ball in play longer. That should be the standard answer to all losses and would keep a player from being labeled an excuse maker. I also hate hearing how someone played the match of his life blah blah blah.
None of the pros are that good that they can never lose. Maybe they should not lose but anything can and eventually will happen.
federer is fine until he loses, then its either one of back, mono, face, groin, mirkas groin, etc.

Also Roger has been consistently talking about his back problems regardless of a win or a loss.
If Nadal can go on and on for years talking about his knees why cant Roger talk about an injury or illness if he had it?
Now to be on topic-He's said it has been better ever since the clay season started .I guess HC was proving hard on his body with the injury still in rehabilitation but his first serve percentage is better overall than it was and to me,that seems to be the prime indicator of a better back.
He said it to Courier on record..If I find the video I'll post it.I dont care whether you buy it or not.I don't buy it. Federer in his infinite arrogance would never say anything positive about anyone...
I guess Nadal has a Soderling problem then :lol:Federer never had a back problem. It was a Nadal, Murray, and Simon problem.

Course not. You just happen to be both Federer's chiropractor and Nadal's doctor at the same time.Federer never had a back problem. It was a Nadal, Murray, and Simon problem.
Much like Rafa's knees and Djokovic's throat, no?Roger's back will flare up the next time he loses.
I can't remember the last time Rafa made any excuse when he lost, not even at RG when Soderling took him out. And now that it's been confirmed that Nadal's parents have separated he still won't make any excuses.Much like Rafa's knees and Djokovic's throat, no?

Well, he almost did a few years ago against Monfils at the US Open. He had trouble breathing and called numerous medical time-outs and delayed the match over and over until he could recover from the tough, long games and he eventually won the match 7-5 in the 5th set. I think this was the match where the criticism of Djokovic's gamesmanship and abuse of timeouts began.Exactly. He has occasional complaints, but he finishes his matches -- unlike a certain someone else who is now in contention for the career slam of quitting (Djokovic, with the AO, FO, and Wimby -- just needs the USO).
Yeah, and Nadal never won Wimbledon.Federer never had a back problem. It was a Nadal, Murray, and Simon problem.

No, no. What he said was that his problem with Nadal, Murray and Simon was backFederer never had a back problem. It was a Nadal, Murray, and Simon problem.
Nice! No, no. What he said was that his problem with Nadal, Murray and Simon was back

Nope. Until he wins another slam. Should be quite a while

Personal woes affecting Rafa?
Nadal's media manager, Benito Perez-Barbadillo, returned an e-mail with this spare answer:
"We do not comment on personal issues for Rafa. We never did, and we are not going to at this moment."
"There are no excuses whatsoever for his defeat at Roland Garros," Perez-Barbadillo noted later. "He said that clearly."
Roger, meanwhile, can't remind people enough times how he was suffering with mono/food poisoning/back/etc.
Federer on Murray:
"I don't want to make excuses but he played me at a time when I had back problems which made it hard for me to call on my best performance level."
As for Novak, well that's our Djoker. What a kidder.

And Nadal doesn't have a knee problem. He just had a Federer and Soderling problem that was so bad that he decided to skip the entire grass court season...
Sounds just as stupid the other way around don't you think?
