What was your favorite Michael Jackson song?

Politics and personal issues aside. This thread is solely to say your favorite MJ song. Thanks.

Mine would be Smooth Criminal.

He was my favorite musician so I liked a lot of his songs, but some of my favorites were Man in the Mirror, Stranger in Moscow, Will You Be There, Smooth Criminal, and Heal the World.

Rock My World.
the video is great, especially the part with the girl dancing, dressed in a pant suit. girls in pantsuits make my heart go stop.

Surprised no one has yet mentioned Thriller, my own favorite. Beat It is a close 2nd.

I preferred Weird Al's "(B)eat It" parody. Apparently, Weird Al had Michael's blessing on both parodies. MJ even allowed Weird Al to use the original set for the "Fat" parody.

The inmates' Thriller is an excellent tribute as well:

Same here, except I prefer Beat It, with Thriller as a 2nd. And of course that is why I really enjoy Weird Al's parodies as well.

There's so many great ones. Billie Jean, Blood On The Dancefloor and yeah Smooth Criminal. You Rock My World was his last great song.

I wonder if Ryan O'Neal broke into the morgue to beat up Michael's corpse for stealing his and Farrah Fawcett's media attention.

You are an awful human being.

The Lady in my Life, Human Nature, You Rock My World, Butterflies,...so many to choose from. So talented.

Billie Jean, all things considered, but I really like the Dirty Diana video. MJ really commanded the stage.

I just watched a tribute of his 50 best videos (some were remixes though). Unbelievable how many hits.

The Jam filmclip is interesting. Seeing the most graceful athlete ever looking uncoordinated as he is taught to dance.

He made some good music, but Michael Jackson was a strange and messed up person.

When people say they will miss him, I think they will miss his music more than him as a person.

What kind of sane person holds a baby over a balcony?

Maybe he was thinking about Lion King when he did that?:) Anyways, I'll just miss him in general. I'm a huge fan and he really touched me with his music. As far as his personal life goes, I never knew him personally, so I can't judge. He definitely was odd though.

Not me. I actually found his personality much more interesting than his music. Almost all the songs after "Ben" were pretty dreadful if you ask me. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than listen to "Beat it", "rock with you", "thriller", and "Billie Jean". His music is even worse than Billy Joel's, and that's saying something.

EDIT: Actually, this one is not horrible at all.
