Where can I buy Western Grips?

Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy still owns the patent on western grips so you can probably find the best western grips for sale there. You may want to post your used eastern grips on Robert Lansdorfs classified section.

Guys......this is almost 2 years old.

Yes, it's funny, but we shouldn't revive old threads unless they indeed have helpful information.

Hey guys can you help me out?

I bought a western grip on E-b-ay and I think it might be fake.

On first glance it looks real but when I play with it, I get no topspin.

Is there a way to tell if a grip is fake?

I'll try to post pictures later on. I gotta go to my class.

Thanks for your help.

Gee...I am from Aisa.
I guess I use an Asian grip? Its totally differnt from your 'western' grip.
Somehow my grip is lighter.
LOL!!!:D

That is absolutely the funniest post in this thread!!!

Does anyone know where to add lead to the Asian Grips to make them heavier... but retain their mid point balance?

I have played for a long time w/ Continental Grip. Now my new coach says that I should change it for the Western Grip. I can't find them anywhere so can anyone of you please tell me where can I buy them. Do they sell them in small packages? I don't want to use so much money on them... My coach says that my forehand could work better with Western Grip.

Thanks for answering!

You should be able to get one in South America or Spain. I'm pretty sure everyone there has them.

It's not just that it's beating a dead horse; it's not proper forum etiquette.

you two wake up on the wrong side of the bed? it is a fun thread... no harm at all. maybe you guys could start a thread asking where to buy some "chill pills"...

thought i would add the 1337 to the list too... haha.

That's quite clever of you. Now imagine if you could actually buy a grip called the Western Grip? :)

I think you should try those stores which sell car tires. I've seen them advertise Continental, so probably they have the Western ones too!

I'm looking to buy some topspin. I heard that it really helps if your shots are all over the place, and my coach thinks highly of it. I know a few who managed to acquire this item, and they are very consistent now. I did a Google search, but all I could find were some video games. Also, I think it also comes in a 'heavy' variety, which is more expensive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've got some spare if you want to pay for shipping. Got abit of use out of it but 3/10 condition.

It's almost 4 years since this joke has started. Why are we still joking about buying a western grip? Couldn't someone lock this thread?
