I booked my airfair today, landing on the 17th of Jan and the tournament starts 18th.
Hope to see some of the boardmembers.
I really wanna see the quarters and semis plus some other matches.
Anyone know how early I need to book tickets?

Wrong forum. This is the TENNIS travel section, clearly you were looking for the TIME travel section.

Let's see if we can get a mod to fix that title for you now that we've had a little fun with your boo boo. :)

DD, thanks for the quick fix. Now we can focus on Peter's original topic. Hopefully he can find a few other forum members to enjoy the tournament with.

Peter, I've seen random scattered reports in previous years that some days do sell out in advance. I'm sure someone will come by with some information sooner or later.

awesome=) u guys are lucky to live so close! I really wanna see Fed in the quarters and semis, I guess I have to buy both day and night session to be sure to see him assuming he gets there? or do they like the US Open put the big names at the night sessions?
how early do you think I have to book the tickets?

my god the tickets are expensive?=)
300-500 dollars for semis,
200 for the first week, at the USopen a daysession was one third of the price.

why is it so expensive at this event?

nice! what do you guys recommend for bringing a girl that's not very tennisinterrested but she loves sports in general, a daysession the first week checking the small courts or quarters and a night session?

I'm sure the night session would rock but is it worth the money for her?
Which days are you guys going?
