Yeah, lived in the south of the island for most of my life. Moved to PA a year ago to study. Now I'm back over summer. The good thing about the hot weather is that it almost never rains so playing tennis isn't a problem as it is in PA sometimes.

Oh, very cool. I was born there (in San Juan), but moved when I was 2. I still visit every year or so, although I haven't been in a while.

About the weather, yes, it's very hot this time of year, and none of my relatives have air conditioning :shock:. Not as much of a problem as one would think, because there's a nice breeze most of the time.

South of the island? Let me guess, Ponce? San Germán? Salinas?

Ah, brilliant! Good to know you're not one of those smug Ponceños (a characterization according to my dad, who, by the way, swears that Santurce is the heart of Puerto Rico).
