That ball certainly was not on the line.
and look, it was smack dab in the middle of it.
That's what I'm saying, that replay was obviously wrong. I saw the space in between the line on the feed.
Gonzo was saved by that umpire Ramos, pathetic. The point could have continued because that thing wasn't disturbing and Nadal was in control of that point- set point- to close out the 2nd set.

I saw it in....
im watching it on HD on usopen.org and it looked like it hit the line perfectly.
Well I saw it out, both in trajectory off the racquet and in. Heck did you see how surprised Gonzo was at the result?
But no harm really, just sometimes Hawkeye is obviously off.
Gonzo saved by a divine plastic bag.
Gonzo was surprised at it being called out. I saw it in. Hawkeye has been tested and is basically never wrong.

So you agree that Hawkeye can be off? Well, pretty sure I've been saying that for a very long time.
possibly but the wind also got him in a bad position in the rally
Oh definitely. I've seen it screw just about all the big players at one point or another. It's "fun" but it's certainly not perfect, I would think anyone who watches matches regularly would know that. All the players say so too.
Technology > Human Eye.
Can you see ultraviolet light? Or a hummingbird wings flap? No. But technology can.

I can't believe the people are booing. Seriously.
First of all, there are too many things that can go wrong with Hawkeye. Anyone who knows anything indepth about technology knows that Hawkeye can really go off due to a number of factors, including lighting, blind spots, humidity, and all other sorts of factors.
Not including like horrible screw-ups by the Hawkeye operators like the ones that happened to Ljubicic this year.
The one where they tracked the entirely wrong ball bounce?
Exactly...I used to trumpet that "technology is perfect!" stuff when I was a teenager. It's completely bogus though.
Technology is fine as long as it's not gimmicky. Hawkeye however is way too gimmicky. It's an estimation of where the ball is based on information taken in from the cameras. It's just a really accurate estimation. However, it's still an ESTIMATION. People don't seem to understand that.
Yeah, there's nothing wrong in falling and injuring yourself.Gonzo using his antics again, he wanted to break Nadal's rhytm in the key moment of the match. The rain wasn't heavy enough to stop play.
Hey I totally agree, tech is great, but like you said Hawkeye is not perfect. And from time to time it can be pretty far off.

Remember what Hawkeye is. It's an estimate of where the ball is based on information taken in. However, anyone who has taken a basic science course knows how inaccurate that can be. The best way to do it IMO is super high speed cameras lined up with the lines.
Ugh! I'm looking outside my house which is about 15 minutes away and it's just a couple of drops here and there. Nothing too serious.
I don't think I've ever heard Uncle Toni speak before
