Hey, everyone!
I was bored so I made a little chart to see how the rankings are going to look for the ATP after the USO.
The result of the USO didn't affect the standings for the two finalists - Fed is #1 and Del Potro is #5.
Here's the rankings after the USO
__________________________________________________________________
Nadal's back to #2
Del Potro is back to #5
In the Top 10, the guys who have the most points to gain are Verdasco and Nadal
The guys with the most points to defend are Murray (by far), Davydenko, Tsonga and Simon
Scenarios & Possibility:

Scenarios & Possibility:
- Federer ending 2009 as world #1 - Since Federer lost the US Open final then there is a possibility that Nadal could catch up to Federer. The #1 spot for the end of the year is not a guarantee but it is very Likely
- Nadal ending 2009 as world #1 - Nadal would have to make a good run at the Master's Cup and make atleast the semi's at the next 2 Master's tournaments (and maybe win or make the final of Bangkok/Beijing) - a tall order, considering he is not in top form, but it is Possible
- Murray ending 2009 as world #2 - Murray needs to win 1 Master's tournament, win a 500 tournament, make the semi's at the Master's cup, and the quarterfinals of the other Master's tournament JUST to defend his points. So it depends on Nadal tanking the rest of the season or Murray having a miracle season. Not likely
- Djokovic ending 2009 as world #3 - This really depends on Murray. If Murray really is injured and that causes a drop in his level or withdrawl in tournaments, then Djokovic can make it to #3. Otherwise, it doesn't seem likely that Djokovic will defend his Master's Cup title. Not likely
- Del Potro ending 2009 as world #3 or 4 - Del Potro has many points to defend, but if he can do well at the Masters and make it past the Round Robin at the Master's Cup, it is possible that Del Potro reaches #4 or #3. Winning the USO makes it Very Possible that we will see Delpo in the Top 4 at year's end.
- Verdasco ending 2009 in the top 8 - Verdasco has almost no points to defend for the rest of 2009, if Verdasco can knock Davydenko out of the Top 8 and take his spot at the Master's Cup, he will almost gaurantee a Top 8 spot. Very Likely
