Prince P-200 stringing machine

Bent

Semi-Pro
I was offered a Prince P-200 (i think that was the name) stringing machine.

It was app. 20 yrs. old and looked very fine :)

It was pneumatic !

Electric motor+compressor. Piston pulled tension. Rather funny.

Anyone knows something about this model ?

Yes it is probably 20+ years old, closer to 25 or more. Good constant pull machine with glide bar claps, but forget about getting any parts for it like the compressor or whatever. When it dies though you could put a Wise tension head on it.

This machine is very heavy. I recently purchased this machine for under 200 dollars. My tennis friend who I purchased from helped my carry it out to my car and all the following day my back hurt. When I got home I had to get machine out of my car by myself, my wrist was then very sore. I know when this machine was being sold by authorized dealer many years ago it was shipped in 4 boxes due to its weight.
Like Irvin said parts are hard to find, not even 'Tennis machines' carries parts for this machine. But if compressor goes out in it you could purchase a pancake compressor.

I still have a very usable p-200 at work, I use a neos at home. The only problem I have had in over 10 years with the club I'm at now is a blown fuse. No one makes them like that anymore.

Did you try an auto parts store? I would think they would have something to fit.
