There are plenty of advertisements extremely expensive to film and still failures.Or are we supposed not to make judgement here??How many times haven't we all seen bad ads-that still "advertisers who pay big bucks for it and who may know something about marketing" have made?:roll: still I'm the customer here,the target group and so my opinion should matter more than the creator of this ad!
AND if me,who I am a huge tennis fan,don't find it nice to watch nadal's chest how do you think the people who don't even KNOW who nadal is will think??

I didnt say that's suppose to be a better ad. The Point was they make different types of ads for whatever they are marketing. You may be a huge tennis fan but I dont think you represent a huge part of the ad's audience. Me for one liked the music and the ad, and Nadal was featured only for few seconds, and it makes perfect sense, being a celebrity and living in Mallorca. Probably biggest celebrity that island ever had.

Hm.I don't know what is the specific target audience for thsi ad,maybe it's americans or northern europeans maybe not.I don't see how it would appeal more to them this ad,and I still can't explain it.:-?
You would be suprised for how many ads we have here of other mediterannean countries.Flooded.So maybe we're a big target too,we the other mediterraneans.Which would be very wise decision since it costs half the cost to spend my summer in mallorca than in the island next door.:neutral:

Majorca is the place I have been back to because it is really enchanting. If you want the night life then Palma and lots of the resorts. If you want to enjoy the beauty of the island then take the train to Soller from Palma. Problem is Majorca can get very crowded in kids hols. There is something there for everyone. Wish they had tournaments there because its such a great place. Can quite see why Rafa doesn't want to live elsewhere

It is a beautiful island indeed. As long as you manage to avoid the beaches & tourist resorts that is, unless you enjoy the sight of endless numbers of Brits, Scandinavians, Germans & otherwise baking into lobsters.

Mallorca is a beautiful island. Go there quite regularly esp port of pollensa. Its lovely. Minorca is also nice but a bit flatter than Mallorca. Im lucky I have friends who have villas on both islands and i get to go for free,
Tennis is great, beaches amazing, weather real good, food and wine super duper.
Me and the missus might move there for a year to chill and get a tan.
To those US folks forget Nadals chest and try some of Europe's delights.

I haven't been to Minorca yet but I have seen a movie filmed there and it seems so much beautiful and also quiet and peaceful.Not so much touristic-thank god!

It's kind-of cheesy, I'd say (music really sux), and the long theme of an occasionally interspersed unanimated Rafa with others dancing and running and swimming is not super compelling to me. Why isn't he dancing and running and swimming?? More injuries???....
But I honestly love to see Rafa promoting his own 'hood. It's not his fault the videomaker ain't all that creative.
