New Yonex Pro Series Bags

Anybody else seen the Yonex pros carrying them around? It seems like the only update they made to them was a green stripe. Anyone know when they'll be released? Maybe around March with the RDiS 200?

I saw it today at my local pro shop. It still doesn't have thermal protection. The changes that they made are with the backpack straps, which looked like they're not detachable anymore. I only saw the 9 pack, and the middle compartment they moved the zipper to the center so the handles are on each side of the zipper. The white one now has a green interior and green lettering. The blue one has the same orange interior, but has some green on the outside. Everything else seems the same.

yeah, it is available in most shops in my country(Singapore) now, the interior is very similar to the Ana Ivanovic bag, however most importantly there is still no thermal protection

Why does Yonex refuse to put Thermal Protection in any of their bags? I wonder if the bags the pros use have it though. Yet don't their racquet covers have thermo protection?

By the looks of the pro's bags, I doubt they have thermal protection in them either. Since it looks like their bags don't hold shape as well.

Personally, I really liked my Ivanovic 9-pack, but I really wanted some thermal protection so I'm probably moving over to Prince. The new tour team bags are very nice.

Thermal protection really doesn't do much... don't expect it to protect your racquets and/or strings in a hot car all day long. It's just giving you a false sense of security.

That being said, I can't wait for the new Pro series bags to come out! And the RDiS 200!

A bit Off-Topic... I am really disappointed in the limited edition bags for 2010.

Look at the concept arts:

The look great, don't they? Especially the first one! But the way they look in real life... is a disappointment to say the least.

Tecnifibre does the same, thermal protection is a feature that only weather extremeties can take advantage of.

yup, the limited edition bags for 2010 looks very good in the picture but not in real life, they are selling at my local stores and IMO it doesnt look attractive at all.

the material feels cheap and the color is dull-looking, it was quite disappointing as i expected better after seeing the pictures

all in all hype over nothing, the only saving grace is the bagpack straps which are built-in like wilson bags

Did you see the new prince bag in-person?
I don't like new tour team bags. I saw it a few days ago at my local store and was disappointed. looks very cheap but the price was same
prince should bring Japanese EXO3 tour team bags to US. very well made.

by the way, How do you maintain to keep clean looking for Ivanovic bag?
I got the bag yesterday and it might be tough to maintain cleaning looking ^_^

Yes I did on the Prince bag. I'm most likely in the minority here, but I actually liked the previous generation for the Tour Team bag, the one before the pattern leather version. The Japanese EX03 bags look nice. I only wished they would have carried over the green thermal foil into the new Prince Tour Team Bags.

The Ivanovic bag is very hard to keep clean. If you even look at Ivanovic's personal bag, it's pretty dirty and some of the players with the new white pro bags at the Aussie open, they looked dirty as well. I tried to always keep it off the ground so I'll put it on a chair or the bench when I'm on the court. Fortunately or Unfortunately there aren't that many clay courts where I am at, so I haven't ran into that problem yet.
