Its not all mental.. The guy doesnt have the game to be a dominant player anyways.. He should be performing better than he is, but he doesnt have enough weapons, still is a big time pusher, isnt not nearly as aggressive enough, and a has a terrible 2nd serve. He has alot missing in his game and has alot to improve on if he ever wants to have an extended stay at #1 and win some big tournaments

That is a logically incongruent statement. Either you think he has the capabilities to do better or you think he is incapable of doing better. What you can't argue is that he is incapable and should be doing better.
That game you say is crap has won more masters series in 2 years than 'dominant players' world number 1s andy Roddick and Lleyton Hewiit have won in their combined careers. Since Murray entered top 6, only Roger has made more slam semis and finals. But don't like objective things like results get in the way of anything. I know they don't matter on TW.

His overrall game isnt crap.. But he sure as heck doesnt have a game to be a dominant player as past greats either.. Hes a pusher.. How many pushers with weak 2nd serves in history have u seen achieve alot of success?. I think we can agree he could be doing better... But also at the same time he shouldnt be tearing up the scene.
As for having most masters titles than Roddick and Hewitt etc. Hewitt was around when Federer was dominating everything.. And Roddick has been around with Roddick and hewitt dominating everything..
Nadal and Federer arent dominating week in week out anymore as they used to.. so that naturally leaves more master titles open for others. Doubtful Murray would have won a whole lot masters events when Fed was at his peak and cared about every tournament he entered instead of just winning slams as he does nowadays.. And around before Nadal went injury plagued again

I feel really bad for Murray. He looks so down and out. I have to say - props to him for his honest and straightforward press conferences in IW and here in Miami. (I used to root against him, to be honest, but he's been slowly winning me over since he stopped giving interviews where he saw himself at number 1 already!) I hope he gets himself together again soon. I don't like seeing these champions so discouraged.

His game has more variety than almost every other player on tour other than Roger so I don't think calling him a pusher is fair. He just needs a bigger killer instinct so that he goes for that winner rather than spend several several groundstrokes constructing a point. And clearly he's probably going through a lot of mental turmoil after the AO and these 2R lossses at IW and Miami aren't going to help it. But I wouldn't call him a pusher at all.

Old news, when a guy of this caliber goes from dominating people at the Aussie Open only losing 1 set on the road to the finals (before getting dominated by his nemesis) to losing to unseeded people in 2/3 next tournaments and seems to be doing everything technical right, you know it's mental

He played very good at the AO but watching him play, it still feels like he is not using his full potential yet. So he not only has to get his head right, he probably has to get in a better (more aggressive) mindset about the way he plays.

His game is simply off. Yesterday he hit some routine FH's into the net, now I know he does not have a killer FH, but he used to thrash Nadal around with it. He defo needs a change of air.

AO runner up is a pretty good result for him. He lost to RF and not to someome like Monfils.
Regardless of his AO result there are aspects of his game that makes him beatable to any top player:
1. Weak forehand - he cannot dictate play, nor can he finish a point when he wants with a forehand.
2. Serve - his serve crumbles when he is under pressure.
As Becker said all the gym work and interval training can only help so much.

Yeah, I must say I also feel really bad for him, because he has millions of dollars and I don't.
Wake up to yourself, do you honestly think he cares about you ?? Tennis players are extremely egotistical people. Sure they are superbly skilled, fit athletes and it is a great sport, but to actually feel sorry for a rich tennis player or any rich sportsperson is plain wrong. Spare a thought for the common man who works much harder and for much much less reward.
