Should he have everyone in his draw?Berdych, Cilic, and Roddick aren't even in Nadal's half. Nadal has a seaside stroll into the finals.
Horrible, awful draw for Rafa. Well done, ITF. Rafa to lose really early.
Should he have everyone in his draw?
Rafa got a cakewalk draw at the FO. It's about time he get tested once in awhile. So stop crying.

Nad fans can't build up Soderling now after the last FO final 'proved' to you all that Soderling's win last year was a fluke.
Murray a potential semi-final opponent? I'd be shocked if Murray hasn't by then managed to turn what should have been easy wins into tough 5 setters. Will he even reach the semis? so far at any slam except the USO he's failed to live up to the expectation.[/QUOTE]
Did you miss the Australian Open this year or last year's Wimbledon? Have a pop at Murray all you like mate - but keep it rooted in reality. Only two men have made the second week of the last 8 slams - Murray is one of them.
Rafa is a fan of the lakers too..shouldn't that earn him some of your love?
beating soderling in the final, (whos the only man to ever beat him at the fo) is not a "cakewalk" draw. Nadal had some of the very best clay courters in his draw, Almagro, Verdasco and Djoker. Djoker and Verdasco lost, thats their own fault, not nadals.
Besides any draw on clay is an "easy" draw for nadal, considering he is by far the best clay courter of his generation and his head to head so good against virtually all the top players.
Makes up for his easy FO draw...gonna be really tough for him..
Realistically, three of the four guys who can take Nadal out (Federer/A-rod and hewitt) are on the other side. Nadal could have had it tougher.

How is it a monster draw? Who else is capable of an upset besides Soderling?
federer and a -rod? possibly yes. Hewitt? I dont think so, hewitt isnt in his prime anymore. Could he give nadal a tough match at wimbledon? Yes. Would he win? Most likely not.
Who did Hewitt beat in Halle final?
Who did Hewitt beat in Halle final?
Btw, can ignore Isner...who the heck wants to play him on grass!!
Yep. Paul Gasol(Laker's foward) and Nadal are fully aware that one was playing for the FO title and one is playing for the NBA championship. During the post match interview, Paul said he and Nadal talk on the phone and support one another. I don't know if Nadal watch the Lakers but Paul said he was watching Rafa's matches.
Their fans are so use to see Nadal with a cakewalk draws, so any slightest change, it's a "monster" to them.

Never thought I would hear Mr. Hewitt being regarded as someone who can beat Nadal, on any surface. I guess anything is possible.
This makes me like the Lakers just a little bit more...Celtics should have won that game last night, Paul Pierce started hogging the ball and making ****ty decisions, and they fouled too much, that's the only reason LA won. If it werent for free throws and offensive rebounds, Lakers would have gotten embarrassed at home.
If Nadal were facing you ( a yellow octopus) on the other hand, that would really be a monster draw.
I'm surprised that both Nadal & Federer fans aren't even discussing Soderling.
I can understand why the Federer fans want to have nothing do with Soderling twisted but he's a threat to anybody on any surface, IMO. I hope the Swede goes far at Wimbledon.
Big Isner fan here. The big guy rocks however he is more of a threat on the USO hardcourt swing.

Agreed...the guys kick serve is almost as big a weapon as his first serve. And on the ad-side, he serves the kick-serve wide and voila, point over.
He doesn't have time to set up his shots on grass like he can on clay.
Absolutely me 2. I would love 2 see the dam Swede win the whole dam thing in fact. But lets b honest so far he plays awesome up 2 the QF's and then he drops off. I would love 2 see him get over that hump.
Did you watch his match against Federer last year? I think Federer won it in straight sets but they were very closely contested sets. 2 tie-breakers if I recall. Could just have gone the other way.
