Berdych, Cilic, and Roddick aren't even in Nadal's half. Nadal has a seaside stroll into the finals.

Nad fans can't build up Soderling now after the last FO final 'proved' to you all that Soderling's win last year was a fluke.

Murray a potential semi-final opponent? I'd be shocked if Murray hasn't by then managed to turn what should have been easy wins into tough 5 setters. Will he even reach the semis? so far at any slam except the USO he's failed to live up to the expectation.

Holmes: But Sir Nadal has dismissed them all at ease in the last period. It will only make his beating them, and going on to take the title once more even more joyous.

Sir Nadal will win Wimbledon.

Horrible, awful draw for Rafa. Well done, ITF. Rafa to lose really early.

Because I mean, both finalists are on the other side of the draw, Rafa got the hard one for sure... I mean, no Federer or Roddick?! We need to check out the ITF and ask them why the hell rafas draw is SOOOO tough

Should he have everyone in his draw?

My post was directed at the the 'Nadal has a monster draw' question. I don't think he does.

Whatever people think of the current Hewitt, he's not in Nadal's half either. I believe I saw Djokovic in Nadal's half. The Djokovic who appears to have some sort of anxiety/respiratory problem in the later rounds of the slams when the stakes are higher.(Edit: Djokovic isn't in Nadal's half either)

Rafa got a cakewalk draw at the FO. It's about time he get tested once in awhile. So stop crying.

beating soderling in the final, (whos the only man to ever beat him at the fo) is not a "cakewalk" draw. Nadal had some of the very best clay courters in his draw, Almagro, Verdasco and Djoker. Djoker and Verdasco lost, thats their own fault, not nadals.

Besides any draw on clay is an "easy" draw for nadal, considering he is by far the best clay courter of his generation and his head to head so good against virtually all the top players.

Bunch of has-been, never-was, and fledging players on Nadal's draw. Just give him the trophy already.

Nadal to win Wimbledon in 21 straight sets.

Did you miss the Australian Open this year or last year's Wimbledon? Have a pop at Murray all you like mate - but keep it rooted in reality. Only two men have made the second week of the last 8 slams - Murray is one of them.

Rafa is a fan of the lakers too..shouldn't that earn him some of your love?

Yep. Paul Gasol(Laker's foward) and Nadal are fully aware that one was playing for the FO title and one is playing for the NBA championship. During the post match interview, Paul said he and Nadal talk on the phone and support one another. I don't know if Nadal watch the Lakers but Paul said he was watching Rafa's matches.

I think he only fear one guy throughout the tourney, and that was only Soderling. If it's not a cakewalk draw, then there's no such thing as a cakewalk draw or a "monster draw". You can't have one way but not the other.

Realistically, three of the four guys who can take Nadal out (Federer/A-rod and hewitt) are on the other side. Nadal could have had it tougher.

I lol'd at people saying Gulbis/Nishikori/Soderling makes Nadal's draw hard, I'd be way more scared of Duck to be honest. You can rely on Gulbis to choke at least.

fed once again gets easier passage to the final by drawing DJOK....

Makes up for his easy FO draw...gonna be really tough for him..

I'm not sure it equally cancel out. The "monster" draw is extremely exaggerated. Combine both GS(FO and SW19), it still lean toward a cakewalk draw.

federer and a -rod? possibly yes. Hewitt? I dont think so, hewitt isnt in his prime anymore. Could he give nadal a tough match at wimbledon? Yes. Would he win? Most likely not.

That does not make sense. Cilic, Gulbis, Soderling are all quality players and all more than capable of beating Nadal because they all hit hard and flat.

Not to say Berdych, A-rod are not quality players but A-rod's game does not cause Nadal as much trouble as the flat hitters.. In fact, I only see Soderling, Berdych or Gulbis beating Nadal early. Cilic has had a very lackluster season since Australian Open.

Cakewalk draw as usually again for Nadal. What else is new? All of the players he faced, Sod, Gulbis, he demolished earlier this season.

Who did Hewitt beat in Halle final?

Fed also lost go Gulbis, Berdych, Soderling this year. By your logic, they are all ready to win Wimbledon!!

Beating Fed in best of 3 sets is one thing but beating him in best of 5 is totally different thing. If Fed gets a few easy matches and finds his rhythm, watch out!

come on tmf, federer is so inconsitent in smaller events this year and even last year. He has been like this since 09.

Beating federer in the halle final was a great effort by hewitt but it will be a completely different game if federer and hewitt were to meet at wimbledon. I would be shocked if Hewitt could defeat federer at wimbledon.

Federer still plays the best tennis he can in majors but not so in other events.

LMAO! Epic TT troll thread. The "draw" does not even allow Istomin 2 avenge his loss at queens. Who by the way is playing real good grass tennis. Nadal is a lock 2 win the title. 95% chance or more. Until proven otherwise Soderling is a QF threat at the FO and nothing more.

This makes me like the Lakers just a little bit more...Celtics should have won that game last night, Paul Pierce started hogging the ball and making ****ty decisions, and they fouled too much, that's the only reason LA won. If it werent for free throws and offensive rebounds, Lakers would have gotten embarrassed at home.

Umm...Hewitt cant take out Nadal in best of 5, no way. Id say Nadal's biggest threats are Federer, Roddick, and Murray at Wimbledon

Never thought I would hear Mr. Hewitt being regarded as someone who can beat Nadal, on any surface. I guess anything is possible.

The lost the games on the offensive rebounds. Every damn shot the Lakers took they had another chance at it. If Perkins was not injured, that game was easily the Celtics' for the taking because they otherwise completely outplayed the Lakers.

I'm surprised that both Nadal & Federer fans aren't even discussing Soderling.

I can understand why the Federer fans want to have nothing do with Soderling :)twisted:) but he's a threat to anybody on any surface, IMO. I hope the Swede goes far at Wimbledon.

He doesn't have time to set up his shots on grass like he can on clay.

Big Isner fan here. The big guy rocks however he is more of a threat on the USO hardcourt swing.

Agreed...the guys kick serve is almost as big a weapon as his first serve. And on the ad-side, he serves the kick-serve wide and voila, point over.

Absolutely me 2. I would love 2 see the dam Swede win the whole dam thing in fact. But lets b honest so far he plays awesome up 2 the QF's and then he drops off. I would love 2 see him get over that hump.

He has been hanging with Steve Smith the football player so lets see if he comes out pumped and gunning. If Big John can get in2 the Semis he has a big time chance. He has the style 2 blow these clone baseliners off the court.

Did you watch his match against Federer last year? I think Federer won it in straight sets but they were very closely contested sets. 2 tie-breakers if I recall. Could just have gone the other way.

Couldn't agree more! He has the game, so hopefully he'll have the mentality to keep his game at the top in later rounds. We'll find out soon enough.
